Isle of siptha in the new age

So we know the stygians will get for the later chapters a base that you will raid in the exil lands we see this will happening near the savane but will ther a place on siptha too or again nothing ?

No official info yet I know of but I suspect it will be the same as in age of sorcery where the story parts are on exile map and siptah gets the new mechanics .

This is pretty much a guarantee. Putting story behind a paid content wall would upset some, so I assume this is why they haven’t. That and likely trying to make it work with the siptah narrative would he difficult. It’s already weird to see the golem master guy talking about Mek and being trapped in the Exiled Lands while on siptah. :face_with_diagonal_mouth:

Never heard of this “siptha” place, but content should be available on Siptah

I agree, it should have at least access to things like the dungeon and stuff. Story would be tough because they’d have to write it for both servers concurrently, but at least having the stuff would be cool.

The changes to the purge will go to both without a doubt; its replacing the current purge mechanic. The specific story of characters motivating the story are likely to be on EL only. Siptah in the story is in addition to the EL, not a replacement for it. There would have to be a very specific reason that any special characters (like kurak) to be in both places at once. Its similar to the reason why surges arent on EL; there’s no reason for them to be there thematically.

And there’s already 2 Stygian bases in Siptah. No need to bring one from EL.

I wouldn’t be surprised if they allow this mechanic on siptah by converting one of the bases. There’s quite a few, though I suspect Bastard’s Stand will be the more likely option since it’s mostly soldiers.

I hope so because it woud totaly possibel too do that otherwise it will be my last sesson on conan i not want too go back to exil lands totaly overplayed this map since the preview on x box

There will be some elements of Age of War on Siptah. New purges, treasures, two skull enemies, and hopefully the Island Barber feat will be activated.

To note, there are many areas on Siptah that are currently building exclusion zones that are also basically empty. Ruins with no inhabitants.

So there is space if they wanted to expand the Bastard’s war effort, possibly with reinforcements he called in from back home, or more likely, a rival coming to show him up…
After all, Kraxus, you misbegotten son of a strumpet, how are you having so much trouble with some pirates and a derelict tower?

More likely, the purge will show up, but the npc raid location will not.
Just like there was Headhunting in age of Sorcery, but no Kurak.
There is a golem crafter and Khitan in the service of Mek, but no actual Mek.
Expect the same level of inclusion, consistency, and engagement.

That woud be disapointing and the end for conan for me the exil lands have no realy endgame and way too much places wher you never will feal like in a survival game maby around the mound of the deads and at the volcano the rest of the map you can run gunz blazing into evry camp the dungens you play 1 time for the recepies and done i totaly not want too play exil lands anymore siptha makes more fun and offers more endgame content

I played both maps a long time, and i think the same. I realy like Siptah more than Exiles Land. And i wished it would get a bit more attention.

Same i played the exiled lands since early access and ive always felt it was the weakest part of the whole game when Spitah came out i was overjoyed, i love the lovecraft style elements of Spitah and the obscure lore references not just to Conan but the Kull stories as well. I have been a huge howard fan really all my life and of the two maps Spitah feels more howard, lore and feel wise its like a love letter to howard and i love it. I really wish they had stuck to or stayed near the original vision of Spitah because having an inferior copy of what i would say is an inferior map (the exiled lands) makes me sad when there was so much potential for Spitah to be something new. The only reason i ever go back to the exiled lands is because some of my players like it but if it were my chioce i never would again.

Edit: i should clarify this is just my personal opinion as i know many love the exiled lands and i know the devs have put lots of work improving the exiled lands i just wish Spitah was getting some of the same attention.
