Issue with climbing, fall off at top of cliff

Bug Description:

When finishing climbing any edge, be it a skyscraper rock or a simple 1x1 sandstone foundation, when reaching the top of climb the character just drops off the ledge and goes for a nose dive to death, almost every time, any cliff any ledge, takes about 5 times to simply climb any surface.

Only way I found to deal with this is so literally hold the climb key, so when I certainly do fall off I clench to the cliff as I slide down to simply try climbing again. Very frustrating on high cliffs where there is no stamina left to try again, only choice is to fall to certain death and curse the game.

Same exact complaint from a half year ago in PC section, not sure if they’re related or if they’re late on the Xbox fix.

Can confirm this is a thing. It’s incredibly annoying. It’s so pervasive that I have to assume that FC already knows about it.

Been on thier to do list to fix for a long while. A workaround is when you reach the top, tilt camera where you are looking straight down on your character, tilt it slightly right or left. You will “double” jump up and onto ledge.

Ya its been a problem for about 6 months. Still happening. I learned to hold both my buttons down at the top and sometimes you just jump up and over. Its a big hassle.

Not sure how u climb on xbox, but it is old bug maybe 2 years, 3 years. Remember we had covid for 2 now. So even 4.

What we do on pc is always hold spacebar as we climb up, and help with the view by NOT looking up but look over the edge as u climb.

I reported this on the PS4… same issue.
