Item description in Bazaar misleading

I just bought the Apothecary cabinet from the Bazaar, which was described as - quote - “A large cabinet meant to store and organize a vast assortment of apothecary and herbalist reagents used in healing”. Turns out you actually cannot store any items in it, which is a bit of a bummer, seeing that the main reason for me to purchase it was that I wanted to use it for storage. It honestly feels like I’ve been had here. Not exactly good advertising for the Bazaar as far as I am concerned.

how much it cost to you?
here we go…
we got 3-4 threads above about prices do not match the quality of the content
this stuff should be 1 usd for the position MAX

about your concern… im totally cool with idea to sell quality decoratives for 5 usd, BUT only if they unique enough and interactive as you want
some cage with unseen creatures - so you can activate and play with it
usable hottub or pool, gloving obelisks with different color themes etc, dang, possibility’s are infinite
this kind of stuff devs should sell to people… not static tables with no usage at all

Honestly, Funcom really wasn’t ready for this monetization shift. We were all much more relaxed and willing to tolerate stuff like that before it was our money on the line.

Battle Pass bugs are already annoying because the BP is time limited and the bugs are interfering with our progress. Funcom’s QA outcomes were more tolerable before they introduced this artificial sense of urgency.

Now we have another example, the one that you provided: an RP-oriented item description that doesn’t accurately describe the item’s in-game functions is perfectly tolerable when you don’t have to decide whether you’re going to shell out several dollars just to buy that single item.

I was already staying away from the Bazaar for other reasons, but this just reinforces my decision.

I believe this is an oversight. It is also expensive to craft…

My first reaction was where is the storage for this cabinet as well. It makes no sense to be so expensive for what it offers.

@Toodlepip i feel your pain, man. Was fooled just the same way. 150 shaped wood, description of a storage and its useless

Funcom has to make some money-back period (maybe 1 day or so) if it can not make accurate descriptions with crafting costs. I hate purely decorative items without interactions, be it a cupboard without an inventory or some fountain without possibility to get water from it. So I’m afraid I’ll not buy anything except building pieces, with such “descriptions” in this Bazaar.
