Item disappeared from inventory overnight

My Telith’s Lament sword has disappeared overnight. After I got home from the volcano, I repaired my Executioner’s Axe, put it away in a cupboard, retrieved Telith’s Lament from a chest, and put it on my bar. I took it to the blacksmith, repaired it, picked it back up.

I did notice an oddity, in that it seemed like it didn’t have a spiked attachment, so i built a new spiked attachment and tried to put it on, but it wouldn’t take. It already had it (25% AP) but wasn’t displaying the attachment on the icon as usual. I thought, whatever, and went to bed.

This morning, it’s not on my bar, and not in any of the containers I interacted with after my arrival. It is not to be found.

Please provide a step-by-step process of how the bug can be reproduced. The more details you provide us with the easier it will be for us to find and fix the bug:

1. Repro steps not available. However, with this report, and with reports from other players who have lost sandstorm masks out of their inventory, I am beginning to have concerns about a possible bug in which items disappear from players’ inventories after logout and server restart.

Today’s item that is randomly lost after server shutdown/restart:
Redeemed Legion Tasset

Logged out fully clothed.
Nothing in event logs about this.
Wake up, start running off, wait a minute, why am I bare-assed?

wrote this post, then checked event logs again
2020.06.21-10.21.36 Lootbag owned by SavagewithStick has decayed, item Redeemed Legion Tasset is lost.

It’s 10:23. 2 minutes ago this thing is saying I took off my pants and dropped them on the ground?
No. Definitely not. I logged in and stood there doing nothing, reading Facebook for 2 minutes.
I definitely did NOT take off my PANTS and drop them on the GROUND.
At this point it looks like a pattern of items randomly dropping from inventory and then decaying and being lost.

Other players also reporting missing sandstorm masks and objects match this pattern.

If this game is going to behave this way, guys, you’re going to lose customers.

2 days ago it was a sandstorm mask disappearing;
same thing, no record until I find in Event logs it says I dropped it and it decayed.

Other player#1 on server also had a sandstorm mask disappear.
Another player#2 on server (my wife) had a sandstorm mask disappear, as well.

I’m not sure about any patterns - maybe objects recently interacted with before logout and server restart.
