Items spoiling insanely fast (Official server)

Game mode: Online official
Type of issue: Bug
Server type: PvP
Region: EU

Not 100% sure when this happens, but most likely when logged out (and no one is near the base?); item spoil timers increase to insane rates, making food etc spoil in the matter of seconds, no matter where it is located. Confirmed this happening in wheel of pain, improved campfire and furnace.

Example: I put ~500 gruel in the wheel for a T4 thrall, logged in around ~4-5h later and all of it was gone.
This also happened once when I logged on and looked in the campfire, I saw the timers go down in real time (literally savory meat spoiling in like 3 seconds. Fixed this by moving the meat to my inventory then back).

On Official server #1151.

Please provide a step-by-step process of how the bug can be reproduced. The more details you provide us with the easier it will be for us to find and fix the bug:

  1. Not sure how it can be reproduced but it seems like logging out and no one else is near the base makes this happen?

It’s been this way since the ~2.0-2.1 food changes.

I left some cooked feral flesh in the campfire, it said 1 hour 'till going bad.
My base currently is in the shadows of the SE tower of the Unnamed City, and I ran to collect some coal and iron in the border of the map just west from the City. When I got back I had 7 putrid meat in there. I spent… half an hour farming?
Probably as you said @cedeskiva , randomly the times sets to a similar to the compost heap, and drastically reduces spoil time. Maybe the first one in the stack doesn’t, but the ones after probably rot a lot faster due to this bug(?).

Have you checked the server settings to see if the multiplication of items spoils is set to 1.0
