Its no longer force thrall to hold weapon? It says inventory is full

For real? I can’t even take screenshot now with me and thrall holding weapon? Jeez

Close the thrall inventory and reopen it. Some food probably spoiled and took up extra slots. There always needs to be one empty slot in order to move weapon to the thrall’s hand. Once the spoiled food is removed you will be able to put a weapon in the thrall’s hand again.

No, its not the case - tried mutliple thralls with many different weapons and gear and items.

I can put weapon in thrall hand but thrall puts it back to inventory and i can’t take screenshot with thrall holding weapon :confused:

I really want to do screenshot with thralls holding weapons and standing still…

Oh sorry, you weren’t very clear. You specifically said you were getting the “inventory is full” message which is different then the thrall immediately sheathing their weapon. :man_shrugging:

I meant that i get inventory is full message when i try to put weapon in thrall hand and then put item there so he wont put weapon back (it used to work like that) but now it seems i can’t make thrall hold weapon and stand still for picture? : /

Sometimes, I kick the thrall, open inventory, and something is on a second “row” where spoiled food or other items are there, I remove it and I am able to put stuff on thralls… This is often the way I get through this bug.

I know what you’re referring to… you’re trying to trick the game into allowing you to get one more item in their inventory while their weapon is equipped. I believe this was quietly patched with 3.0. I have yet to get it to work since then. I’m pretty sure it’s not a big, but an intentional fix to avoid the exploit of creating 6 slots instead of 5. It now reads the weapon as taking a slot regardless of whether or not it’s been equipped in hand.

All dandy but we lost ability to keep weapons in thralls hands.

Yeah, that was likely a bug as well. Sometimes they just didn’t put them away. Idk the exact purpose for this. It could be tied to the inventory exploit I mentioned. Who knows? Whatever the reason, it too was a quiet update I believe.
