I've not quitting, I'll be back sometime

In a closed system, where everyone suffers the same, some fair better than others through technological darwinism.

Even the higher echelon have lost things in the past.

How you deal with loss is how well you survive.

Remember that someone weak who survives harshness is stronger than someone strong, who becomes weak.

I’ve had a good time with this game, and I’m sorry to hear it isn’t the same for you. I’ve got pals who gave up due to their own technical issues, and I feel for you. It’s a great game, with a good community and a developer that seems to care. I hope we see you again.

I couldn’t agree more.

I just quit because a game crash wiped out hours of work and T4 thrall all wiped because fC couldn’t get the game properly ported to PS4, and it crashes constantly.

I have played many games, but none come close to having as many crashes as CE.

It is shame really, the basics of the game are good, it is just the coding and indifference to treating players time with respect.

Unlike you, I will likely not be back.

Good luck to the remaining players, I hope FC changes it’s ways, but I am sadly pessimistic…

If you say so you never played skyrim.

One year after official release the 11.11.11 it worked only on PC because you was forced to open the console at least one time each play session to unbug your character from wrong collisions, skip bugged quest steps etc.

And I’ve spent anyway thousands of hours on it before in 2 years they made the game “playable” patch after patch :kissing_heart:

Honestly sometimes reading players complains I wonder what kind of other games they ever played, because software without bugs do not exists at all (I’m a software developper, I know what I’m saying :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:) and CE it’s not in a bad state compared to others.

I do feel for everyone that experience constant bugs. But i can’t relate because have not had the consistent issues others have.
Just in case, here are some things i do in general (i manage at a company that makes circuit boards btw)
PS4 Slim
1 TB SSD (just because my 500 GB HD was not enough, but pleasant side effect is better load times for CE)
Will always keep the HD and SSD about 15% empty (850 GB of 1 TB and 400 GB of 500 GB used)
Wireless 100 MB internet
10 feet from the router
Well ventilated area
Use air cleaner once every 2 months in vents of PS4
Shut off every 2-3 hours and let it cool down 30 minutes (plus some eye rest time)

I can understand, hopefully the game will be in a much better state when you return. I just died to lava twice yesterday because of the .PAK file bug. I asked and at least two people on the server were having the same issue.

I got skyrim on release day for the same PS4 I have now, I cannot remember a single bug or glitch. My game library is vast, hundreds of games.

This thread is getting off topic in so many ways, and I hope some of you with a sound mind and decent reading skills can see what I’m seeing. I’ll no longer be posting to this thread so continue if you wish but I’m not going down rabbit holes or into personal details. My point was the game was severely lacking from what it could be. That’s it.
