Please change Jailors before cut and pasting them into the Exiled Lands.
Since they cannot be knocked out, instead of the golden border, they need a one skull border. The current golden border confuses players new to Siptah into thinking they have found a T4 thrall.
Change the armor drop from Silent Legion to Black Knight. This will look exactly same (the only visual difference is the helmet, and Jailors do not wear headgear) but have half the armor value. The frequency of armor drops can also be reduced. As things stand on Siptah, advancement is trivial once you can kill a jailor. Kill one and wear his armor. After killing a third, you have two sets of end game heavy armor for you and a thrall, and non-boss mobs are trivial. This can be done in the early teens. The Black Night armor will be nice for a new player, but is in line with the heavy armor you can make at level 20 when you get your hands on some heavy padding (fairly trivial to obtain in quantity from skeletons).
Strongly agreed on the gold boarder/skull conversion.
Personally, this one would suggest changing the armour to Hyrkanian Raider or Stygian Soldier. Both are already existent in the base game and see no use on any other random spawn. Silent Legion should be somewhat special. It’s fine when Named Relic Hunters have it, but for clucks sake, putting it on what amounts to a trash mob is sad. Especially when there are other armours available.
If they keep their dialogue lines (which are just Black Hand lines) they could even put them in Barrachan Reaver armour.
That might be the simplest most adequate solution, to put them in that armor. As much as i’d like to see Jailors made into something more area-appropriate, i think Barachan Reiver would be the quickest solution to the balance issue at least.
They changed sorcerer’s attire to regular cultist when equipment drops were introduced. I hope they consider doing the same for jailers before this update goes live.
Although in general I agree about what you say about jailors (especially the problematic Silent Legion armor drops), on Siptah, Silent Legion armor that doesn’t benefit from T4 armorer bonuses is hardly endgame quality. At least for me, dropped Silent Legion is the stuff my fresh thralls get to wear before they deserve proper armor.
