I am wondering how you get the blood to place in the temple to make the items. I have crafted the knife and killed basically everything and used the knife on the bodies and got zero blood.

Maybe have to use it on werewolves or certain animals instead? Havent tried yet myself.
Only dead humanoid enemies drop sanctified blood when stabbed with jhebbal knife. I can comfirm this is working on official servers.
Craft bloodletter knife in the temple and use it on dead humanoids.
Works fine with me.
