I am the first to hop in and say they broke something.
So I am happy to be the Fifth to hop in to say the Stability Patch just Released Mar.22-ish
did a lot to improve stability on PS4. There is noticable improvement in game performance.
I don’t know if they actually changed the Chapter Dungeon, only having completed it twice before the latest stability patch, but the pillar-slash-fog portion rendered without the initial blinding crazy fog level and was actually playable with improved visuals, and less lag-freeze.
At first attempt after PatchUpdate I went for 3-4 hours without a crash-freeze. Prior to Latest Patch and after the March Update which initially introduced the stability issues, I was only able to play max 2 hour session, and often less.
In addition the inventory lag is again greatly reduced,
and my followers are not black silhouettes when I turn to check on them.
This PatchUpdate in response to the March Update (which broke the stuff)
did a great job of (fixing the stuff its predecessor broke).
I am glad you posted this Positivity Thread. I hope there is even greater stability to come. The game in its present state, with some work towards stabilizing BP/BAZAAR tabs (they can still freeze the game).
Would make this game recommendable.
Sorcery, at least the “find resources spell” is currently (knock on wood) bombproof, and enjoyable as hell.
Me-kemoses Shrine rendered quickly, even though many of its little village’s inhabitants still took a while to load in.
Also areas you do not frequent often should be traversed slowly or you may miss characters and enemies entirely, or elephants, or tigers, and the like.
Following the patch the Golem Vendor now renders, takes significantly less time to appear, and although the audio is slow to load, it does load.
Beautiful game, as of 11pm last night, Mar.23/2023.
gotta sing the praises quickly before they break something.
Pos-i-tiv-i-ty! Happy thoughts. Patch Update definitely helps Conan return to a level of playability.
