Kaidan Back Banner

When you accidentally kill one of those mobs and then puts the banner on your back in Kaidan in the area above the bath house, is there any way to get rid of that thing short of logging out to the character select screen and back in?

I think zoning works.

I think right clicking the banner buff also works, à la the EPA mask thing in BM

What is strange is sometimes I find that I have the banner and the icon is gone.

I also get the banner when killing one of “Those” Oni from the flaming huts at the back of the bath house…and sometimes no icon or no way to remove it, sometimes Zoning works sometimes it doesn’t. Some people find it annoying some people don’t. Either way - having the banner on your back when not doing THAT particular mission IMO shouldn’t happen and therefore a bug.
