If you completely empty the NPC inventory. Closing inventory with key “E” does not work!

This has been driving me bonkers! I seriously thought I had misconfigured something when programming my new keyboard. An extremely annoying bug whilst trying to learn new muscle-reflexes!
To be clear, this is happening for me too on PvE Official, so it’s not just an offline or single-player bug.

You can use the ESC-key to get away from the inventory.
Or you leave just one item in the inventory, in which case ‘E’ still works.
