Key pet stats nerfed to minimum

Certain growth percentages are locked in for various animals. I would like to know if this is an intended nerf to pets (like accuracy), or if it is a bug.

Locked in stats: (ignoring Accuracy)
Blue Ostrich 40% Agility
Camel 100% Vitality, 40% Agility, 40% Survival
Elephant 40% Survival
Gazelle 100% Vitality, 40% Agility, 40% Survival
Silverback Gorilla 40% Agility
Jaguar 40% Agility
Shaleback 40% Strength
Lion 40% Agility
Mammoth 40% Survival
Panther 40% Agility
Sabretooth 40% Agility
Large Male Scorpion 40% Vitality
Wight 40% Vitality
Undead Monstrocity 40% Vitality
White Tiger 40% Agility
White Yeti 40% Agility
Black Yeti 40% Agility
White Wolf 40% Agility
Horse 40% Agility


Please provide a step-by-step process of how the bug can be reproduced. The more details you provide us with the easier it will be for us to find and fix the bug:

  1. Log in to official server 1503, or single player.
  2. Place several copies of nearly any pet.
  3. Hold ‘E’ on the new pet and look at its’ stats in the radial menu.
  4. Note that certain types of pets have minimum growth locked in on critical stats.

Each of these panthers were placed within an hour or two of the daily server maintenance to avoid the old bug where a maximum 100% growth rate would cause minimum 40% for all other pets that day:













This looks to me like an older bug coming back.

Did you happen to place any pet that got a 100% chance? I see that is the case for vitality, but did it happen for other stats as well?

That older bug happened to my bearers, I set down several at almost the same time. Whenever one bearer got a 100% in a stat, all other bearers placed after that one got only 40% in that same stat.
This was true for all bearers set during that same day.

A server restart repaired this temporarily, until the next guy showed up with 100% in a stat…

Thanks for the feedback Starwalker! I shortened my post to help more people read to the end where I addressed yer question. I want this to be as easy to understand as possible to improve Funcom’s understanding.

I placed 260 Relic Hunter Treasure Seeker archers, and found their Accuracy growth percent capped at 70%. Is this intended or a bug?

Why were there no 52% or 48%? All of the archers I placed had growth percentages in multiples of 5.

As of 4-9-2020, horses had their Agility growth % un-nerfed. Still no word in the forums if all this is intended or not… so place yer frozen horses now while you can! The other bugged pets seemed unchanged.
