This issue is not relevant to PvP.
On PvE, sometimes players log out in other people’s bases. This can be very annoying as they can block construction. If they quit playing entirely, then their body just stays there until it is eventually removed from the map.
I suggest that, after a player has been logged out in someone else’s land claim for a set amount of time (perhaps an hour), then by holding interact on their snoozing body, there should be “Kick from land claim” option.
This would teleport their body back to the starting desert (or beach on Siptah). They would keep all of their inventory and be able to log back in as normal, just in the starting area instead of someone’s base.
The reason you’d need to wait an hour to kick someone would be to prevent being a jerk to people who just got disconnected, or abusing a free teleport for your friends.
Additionally, when a player logs out, that is when they should be flagged if they are in someone else’s land claim. This would be to prevent griefers from laying down new pieces near someone to add a new land claim just so they could kick some unsuspecting victim back to the desert.
