Codemage is regular since 2018 if I am not mistaken, his criticism is always there RESPECTED FROM THE COMMUNITY, where are you @Raskhaul all these years, do you even know how many times he asked the thralls to have immunity on lava? Every day he writes columns to explain and help, yes, his disagreements are strong but this is him.

this is not an isolated case, it has happens very recently on lot of official server, legit players playing for very long time that have been deleted when major problem on official server is not big base (of long term player that have been able to survive) but a lot of cheating using bug, just search on youtube about aerial base in exemple, and hack (and when i say hack its use of third party program). it’s very weird to see legit players banned and erased and those who use third party program running on server. if you dont understand what i mean, just play on a pvp offical server for more than 6 months, you will undestand what i said and see what happens, and clearly those who use those glitch have find an easier way to get loot, without risk report in making ban long term player with big base and looting all… i wonder when fc will open his eye…
You seem to have it all worked out. One thing you’re forgetting is that Conan Exiles is a Single Player game. You want to build a Jeff Bezos dingdong rocket to scale? Have at it, Jimmy. Go with Mitra, be as big as you want.

I’m going to call this statement a lie and an untruth. What it is likely is a rule-lawyering attempt to get a loop hole. You’ve been asking for a set number. But you know a set number won’t actually fix any issues. You’ve been explained (and I believe you already knew) that 1000 blocks in a 10x10x10 cube doesn’t affect the server at all, but a 1000x1 line could. You could use a fraction of that number to utterly ruin another players day by building around them.
But you knew that. The intent is to be able to build like an arse and then point at the rules and say “I’m under my building limit!” Come on now. Stop acting naïve. You’re not fooling anyone. You’re much smarter than you’re saying.

That’s not quoted out of context. The context they provided was in relation to blocking resources- which is important - and I and that individual resolved that part of the context in a later exchange.
However, “building big and not blocking resources” is perfectly capable of still breaking TOS by hindering performance. That is why the context you are referring to was omitted in that post.
There is nuance there, so I’ll forgive you for not understanding.
Why do you think these posts are taking so much popularity? Other posts far more important have maximum 50 replies .If you want to have a post that will have 300 replies all you have to do is, the game is dead, Funcom sucks, etc… In these posts personal attacks are starting, all the “lawyers” of the forum analyze every single word, members are fixing fiction sides of white knights and offended and so we go on. All these posts are fiction based, all of them. Someone thinks of something, someone else is trying to explain that it has no other base than personal speculation and the fight starts.
About defending persons is normal, some of us are years here and we’ve seen hundreds or thousands of posts from some persons. So if someone else is saying something untrue about another person it is very logical for a fellow member to react . There are No Sides. We are all players here and he have the joy some members to be moderators too. Brilliant members guide the way how to help the community and the game and I try to follow them doing the right thing and helping too. If for some persons these brilliant members are a side this is their problem not mine and I won’t make it further.

Yes, I’m sure Funcom is completely incapable of reading all this abundance of constructive criticism because of us. I mean, if you look at the forums, you can clearly see that each and every one of the several threads about new rules starts with a post that offers reasonable, constructive criticism, expressed in a civil manner.
It’s all our fault, really. You guys come in with your rational, civil posts and we call you “clowns”, “white knights”, “fanboys”, “trolls”, and “pieces of ■■■■■”.
Oh, wait, no, it’s actually the other way around.
Word to the wise: if you don’t want hostility, then maybe refrain from calling people names when they disagree with you. And if it offends you so much when people say that they’ve heard your argument countless times, then maybe spend a minute or two looking around at the conversations that are already plastered all over the forums. Either that, or learn not to be offended when people don’t treat you like you brought new, original insight with you.

The assertion that they’re not deleting sandstone huts or banning people for merely logging on the servers is demonstrably true. So yeah, it should be something “we all know”. If you truly believe that any part of that assertion is false, then you’re not playing the same game on the official servers.

It all makes sense. People who don’t like the game are still playing the game, until they find out that they disagree with people who like the game. That makes them quit.
As to the actual topic: We, the regular players, don’t see the whole truth. Funcom does (or at least, they have the tools to do so). When a clan gets banned and their buildings deleted, those outside of that clan have no way of knowing whether they had abused the building system via land claim spam, undermeshing or other rule-breaking. We’ll only ever know what they tell us, and most of the time, they’re going to plead innocent whether or not they actually broke the rules. Funcom will not, and cannot, publicly tell us the reasons for banning people or deleting buildings.
It’s up to us to determine whether we believe everything people tell us on the Internet, especially if they have a personal interest in the outcome.

just wait it comes for you, seem that since 1 month fc take very weird action against their legit player with juut big base (big = well just look their advertersing of dlc). personnaly i saw 20 legit players of 3 clans including mine ban on my server, and people using cheats ruling the server, so good luck you.

Im currently playing Console conan and there is 2 clubs anyone can join and in those clubs people brag about spam reporting the new game meta is who gets banned first loses the war and thats all.
No you have it wrong it is definitely you that is the problem with the community you are definitely extremely hostile and toxic in every way the only reason you havent been banned is because you agree with everything and become a pet to funcom while other question the motives
