Legendary weapons/tools did not get their bonus attributes converted to the new system in 3.0

step 1: play game
step 2: see armour and weapons has new stats
step 3: hold legendary axe of the lion with +5 str.
step 4: see it no longer has damage bonus, try other axes, same results none give bonus stats or damage.
Step 5. use regular axe since all legendary weapons broke and have no stats.

I don’t think this is a bug. The axe no longer says it has a STR bonus.

the wiki’s actually have not listed most item stats for a while now, you had to hold the weapon to find out.

hammer of thag, meant to the best hammer in exiles with +3 str +3 grit currently gives no bonus stats. since legendries never listed stats in their description.

Crom's Hammer - Official Conan Exiles Wiki croms hammer used to be +5 str +5 grit. now its just a bad hammer.

its a bug with how the stats worked on legendaries you only knew it had stats if you held them, i think funcom forgot to update them since the item did not have it’s stats listed when you click it to see the description. because of another visual bug where legendary item stats were removed from being displaced (they used to show what bonus they had)

Axe of the Lion used to say it added STR. Now it doesn’t. Funcom removed all attribute bonuses from all sources, seems like Legendaries are included.

ah so its not a bug, funcom just broke half the weapons in the game and removed any reason to kill mini-world boss’s and get skeleton keys… nice, they removed 1/10th of the game content in 1 patch. :frowning: i used to have fun farming them, now its pointless

*i wanna hear it from them, i want to hear a community manager or a dev say they intentionally removed the point of all legendary weapons.

blackblood pick now gives no bonus it used to give +10 survival. i had a shield that used to give me extra stamina, now its not even worth picking up a key to try to get it.

there’s no way they did this intentionally. it HAS to be an oversight.

Don’t worry, you can still enjoy farming - mats, for regularily crafted items. I heard that Telith’s Sorrow is all the rage on classic, and on Siptah you’ve a wide selection of 2H swords that hit 81 dmg (when crafted with a bladesmith + Master Weapon Fitting). :slightly_smiling_face:

Yeah… legendary chest weapons are now pretty underwhelming. They’re okay to use while levelling, but that’s just another problem with them, as that makes the whole iron-steel-progression superfluous.

My suggestion:

Add some Diablo-II-style random loot system to legendary chests. That’s sh… game design, but an easy fix to make boss hunting somewhat interesting again. Or put some Eldarium in there.

That’s not how it works. Whether they’re listed on the description or not (those are just labels, they don’t do anything and they could type any text there), the stats were present in the item table. So for them not to grant the stats now, somebody actually had to go in and manually remove them :slight_smile:

Because of this, I’m 100% it’s not an accident but a deliberate nerf. It’s understandable though because individual attribute points became much stronger now (for example 5 vitality gives you 100 HP), since the max is only 20 now instead of 50 in each tree.
So an item having 5 str and 5 grit on it is insanely OP in the new system… that’s giving you massive damage bonus, stamina and potentially unlocks 2 perks while at it… I think it’s understandable why they did it.

I believe they’re planning some sort of a revamp for legendaries pretty soon though. They have been mentioned a lot on the forums and the fact that they stripped them down like this now is most likely a precursor to them getting some sort of a rework, if nothing else than at least some of the new type of damage % increase stats that you have on armor too.

If they are indeed planning to revamp them, then they should’ve done so before the release of 3.0. You can’t have “legendary” weapons in your game and have them be the lamest weapons of all.

How would they have done that if 3.0 introduced new stats that should be on those weapons? They couldn’t have added those on to weapons without having the update to introduce these new stats first… And “revamping” them without the update would have been redundant since they would’ve had to remove the attributes from them now anyway.

well for one they changed all the flat attributes to most legendary armour over to % bonus. and the current armour had its stats changed to % bonus. so to skip the legendary weapons and tools is just lame. they had the capability they just did not care :frowning:

Yesterday i crafted a few siptah weapons i got from the delving bench. So many weapons now have the same damage, reduction and even skin. What is the point now of having this dublicates? It would be best when all unnessesary recipes get deleted since it just cost eldarium to get them.

Legendaries have been useless for a while now which is why my feedback to Funcom was to allow us to use them as skins since this is all they are good for now.
