What if there was a cool expansion for AoC? What three new areas of the Hyborian World would you like to be included?
I’m going to go with:
Vanaheim: it’s in the frozen north, connects to Cimeria
Zingara: connects to Aquilonia and Tortage, more pirates and maybe even ship battles
Turan: connects to Stygia and possibly Khitai, big area with trade cities and trade route
Well being that both Vanaheim and Turan already exist in the game I doubt very much they’d revisit either of those zones by also creating expansions of the areas.
Zingara would be more likely of your 3.
A cheap way to create a new expansion would just be to adapt the Conan Exile maps. Add quests there and then add a quest like Tali’s to get to Turan to the game that sends you to the ‘exiled lands’.
Vendhya would be another option. Storyline could tie into the origins of the Tamarin’s Tigers, as well as the whole story about how they kidnapped the prince/heir to the Vendhyan throne (quest from the Grey Leopard in Chosain).
Yes but remember, Age of Conan is the true experience. Conan Exiles is just a garbage dump of assets used to make extra money. Instead of Conan Exiles, we should have put more development into AoC. The game is great enough where if they released an expansion like Godslayer-size and actually did some marketing, AoC would gain tons of new players. Heck, even just the marketing would be a huge help. It sucks they gave up on AoC but like many of us know, AoC and Godslayer gives us enough to keep busy for another few decades! We just need players to get organized and everything will be better.
