The warmaker dungeon is also very good for leveling up your thralls as many bosses here will give you about the same xp as the snakeboss + a lot of xp from skeletons too.
For those who live in the swamp like me, i can only suggest go on a apes rampage around the palace of the witch queen. Thoses give around 17 K xp are really easy to farm at whatever lvl you are.
Giant snakes give a little bit more.
Gorillas are ok
and birds come last.
i didn’t try the salamanders yet, but i bet they give good xp too.
Good luck, as leveling your boyz and girls becomes a pretty tedious process at some point.
i’m sure funcom will adjust the leveling curve in an upcoming update.

When you say “upright”, what do you mean?
i was mainly talking about the grey midsized apes that you can find in abundance in this area.
60 K xp for a ape??? Geez, i guess you know where you’ll spend most of your time in the upcoming days

PS.: The children of Jhill didnt give my thrall any XP. Not even the 3skull bosses there.
PP.: At frost temple you have 15 frost giants. One gives 32k XP.
ON PS4 it seems like the XP is normally 4x on officials of the listed. the Thralling seems to be double that.

And as far as the list, remember to not over focus on the highest XP of just 1 NPC, but the amount of XP per time played. That is why i say the witch queen area (on PS4 at least), because there are @30 Gray apes (1 full heavy combo by str build player = 1 kill), so at level 60, you can go in a circle and get about 2,000,000 XP for your thrall every 15-20 minutes.
Nice tipp with the grey apes. Was already fed up with the frost temple… But UC was quite bad for me. Or the Exeuctioner weapons dont grant any XP at all…
I wonder if it is due to the crit that Executioner weapons give. Might want to report it as a bug…not major, but something that can effect leveling otherwise.
From my testing so far the executioners weapons do not grant any XP when used by a player or by a thrall. This only applies when the final strike is one that uses the special ability of the weapon. Which is really only noticed when killing something with a large health pool.
So thats why my UC experience was so bad… I ONLY used the executioner weapons for the final blow (and before that other weapons)
But sometimes my thrall was to fast… So thats when I got the XP.
I just found it great to kill bosses with <5% hp… Damn it

Based on Wak4863 and jot29 observations, the critical final blow hit on any of the Exectuioner legendary weapons nullifies XP gain for both player and thrall when on follow. Is this intended?
