The spoil timer for the lingerring essence is way too fast. If you adventure too far any lingering essence is gone by the time you come back to your base. You would have to have a place to use them like you would have a base for something else to be sure you don’t lose them all. This change is too drastic. It prevents you from going anywhere far if you do not want to lose them.

yes, there is no point trying to collect except around your base

Agreed. I also think the Blessed staff should harvest more than just 1.
