"Living Settlements" option missing in the Public Beta Client

I have just noticed on my (Steam) ‘Public Beta Client’ private server that the “Living Settlements” option is missing in the settings. I can’t turn the LS off. Someone else has also posted in the Steam ‘Beta’ forums that they have the same problem.

There are no official servers running for Oceania at this point in time so I can’t check to see if it is my server, or if it is missing in the officials servers as well.

I can’t join an EU or USA official server to check as my ping is too high (thank you Funcom for completely shutting me out of your official servers).

Has anyone else noticed this problem in the Beta servers.

I can join EU from the US, sure the issue isn’t on your end?

What are your regional access settings?

I must be over looking the setting on live because I can’t find it on live to know where it ought to be test.

Kept over looking it at the top of the server settings on live.

I know where it is on live, that isn’t the problem. I see in your pic that the LS option check-box is missing on your Beta server as well.
Is your pic from a private Beta server or from official Beta server.

You can join the EU because your ping is below 200. I’m in NZ (Oceania). My ping to the EU/America servers is too high (256-310), so won’t let me join.
In your pic I can see the Oceania servers aren’t showing either, so that confirms the Oceania servers have been shut down.

The question is, has it ever had the option?
The beta server is 3 builds behind live, may simply be the beta server never got the update that added it.

If memory serves, the option to disable was never a thing on the beta servers (or single player). It was only added in the transition to the live game

To be honest I can’t remember that far back. To much water has flowed under the bridge since then.

I’ve thought about doing a thread about how the beta servers ought to be used; years of alpha and beta testing of games and application, but it would be a waist of time.
