I logged in today and lost all my gear on me in my inventory I had over 300 items with my perks on. Lost ALL OF IT. I’m a new player and this is no way to keep from buying of playing this game. This is actually trash tbh. How you have this bug still after having this game out for this long is unreal. I’ve put a lot of hours in this game already and lost EVERYTHING. Makes me want to quit for good. I need someone to give me an answer asap.

Hi and welcome, You need to post more infos. What game type you play? Pve pvp? Online or offline? What does the logs say? Killed by something maybe?
PVE online. Yes, it says died and then all my shit decayed. But I didn’t die. I literally helped a new buddy to our base. Logged back in and I’m naked with absolutely nothing. So many hours. Complete trash.
I had a ridiculous number of mats trying to build the new dlc stuff I bought all the iron and steel reinforcements. GONE.

Now please give us a further description of the issue. Could be any umber of things, like logging out in the open on a public server means you are exposed to the weather and can die while off line.
I don’t trust solo games. I’ve read about corupt saves but that may be more consoles.
If you were on a public PVP you didn’t hide very well.
But really we need to know more to even try to help.

I’m on PvE online. I just checked my server settings official #1524 and it says logged out characters remain in the world. So bc I was in my base but it was raining I died and all my shit decayed? If that’s how it works I have no words.
The amount of hours it took me to get all that shit. I’m not doing it again.
First of all, I’m sorry that you lost all your stuff. In Conan, however, this can happen quite often for various reasons. It could be a bug, but it could also be the in-game situation. Does the log say what you died from? For example, thirst or hunger? If you log out next to a furnace, that can happen.
Every loss of hard-earned items is frustrating. Depending on how far you are in the game, you’ll realize that most of it doesn’t actually take that much effort. You can get a lot of things back very easily. What initially takes 200 hours will only cost you 2 hours in the later game. Then there are a lot of tricks you only learn later. For example, you can create steel reinforcement much more easily if you have the appropriate thralls. 1 steelfire and 1 iron bar are needed for this.
No question, there are many bugs in the game. I’ve had moments here too where I thought I’d throw the game in the trash. But I’m still playing 
One tip: When you go offline, always put your stuff in a chest. Also your armor. There are armor stands for this where you can quickly take off your entire armor. I love these things 
Unfortunately, you won’t get your stuff back, but if you enjoyed the game, then definitely don’t give up. It also sounds like you still have a lot to discover and experience.

If you were under a roof, in an enclosure you should have been fine. Biggest issue is the sand storms. But there are , err, exploits.
None the less, here are some hours of game play
ALWAYS.
Never log off with things you want to keep on you.
Always store your stuff in a full decay timer’d base.
For added measure, pull your bracelet then immediately log out, your body will not be in the world. Of course, don’t do this if you have stuff on you.

Welcome to Conan Exiles. it will happen again, its only a matter of time.
Just last night the pubserver I’m on was having serious lag issues, crashed a few times. died because npc fight, over hit here, missed, 10feet the other side, left, float, dead. Server went down, came up back on and im me di ate llllag and could not access my body to get my server down.
So yes I lost a full kit, bunch of black and purple lotus, and my first chest key 
But if I quit when I lost everything I’d never made though the first week of the game. When you’ve played to level cap a few dozen times, loosing everything on you doesn’t mean as much.
Hell I just let another level capped character’s keep decay away; I know I had a dozen chests of legendaries. For me the fun of the game is the play through, I regularly start new games. Wish we had wipe servers. Fresh year, fresh server.

You most likely died to water and hunger during your log off point as you still remain in the world and a building buff to have that effect reduced or someone kited a mob to you and killed you this way.
Depending how long you had been logged off you still do lose hunger and thirst in a home but at a huge HUGELY reduced rate.
