Hello, today at 15:00 CEST someone (i know who, but i dont blame him :D) loot my death body and steal my stuff (i died on the black galleon in fight). But PVP is from 17:00. Is that a bug, or is it normal? I think i was never able to loot someones body berefore 17:00…

What I find strange is that this is possible on regular PvE servers as well. :grimacing:

In pve can be REALLY helfpfull. Lets say that helps the ones that r willing to help others to reclaim and give them the stuff they dropped…

Well yes, I’ve used it for that purpose myself, but it still seems like a bug the way it has to be done.

According to the settings your body is lootable on death. So definitely not a bug. You may have some luck asking for your things back, if done tactfully.
Keep inventory after death is possible on some private servers. But not suitable for an official sever really.

To reinforce: on PvP you can be looted 24/7. During non-Raid hours, it is wise to keep a high-level bearer close by so that you may dump your goods on her before you die. She cannot be looted until she can be killed, generally during Raid time.*

* Or with use of at least one other method I won’t mention here.

There is a way to loot a body after death even on pve but most of us keep it to ourselves so that the wrong people dont learn it. We use it to usaly help out others… some i might troll abit saying there stuff decayed on them befor they got back if they can take the joke though

As it turns out, this bug helped allowed me to save a friend’s gear in Sunken City today. If only all bugs were so helpful.

And then you die and some random guys steals all your gear/loot on a frciking PvE server…

Its a bug. A really bad one to be precise…
And I didnt even know that it exists and if the bug is still there after September 3rd, I will make an official bug report.

But dont get me wrong: It should work on clan-mates! But not for strangers at a PvE server.

Unfortunately some of the wrong people know how to do it and you will end up losing some stuff here and there. Don’t take out stuff into dangerous places unless you are ready to lose them as anything can happen. Sever went down on me once and killed me, got back on after 15 mins but my stuff was gone because they needed to restart the server. You are going to lose stuff in the game no matter what you do, dont get attached to anything

For clanmates, definitely. For “rescue” missions between clans (like what I was on), perhaps the ability to right-click on the player(s) in the player list and enter a temporary alliance for such purposes would be preferable.

Maybe a clan alliance feature in game would work
