Every single day, when I log out to the main screen, the game freezes while “disconnecting”, then I have to manually close the game and restart it but, when I log in, I’ve lost my horse, thralls, gear, knowledge ( once I’ve lost the sorcery knowledge but since my journey was complete, just could not get it again). When I log out after just a short gameplay (like 15 to 20 min) the game logout properly) but, if the gameplay session is longer, I have the issue reported The game is amazing, but losing things everyday and needing to spend hours to do all same stuff again is getting tiresome. I"m playing on single player in PS5.
If I recall if you’re frequently experiencing these losses then you do have to reset the game periodically.
@stelagel might be able to confirm?
Tks for the response. When you say “reset”, you mean reinstall the game?
No, get safe, let the game fully load where you are, 2-5 minutes, then turn off the game, then reset your PS. Wait 1-2 minutes for it to fully gear down and rest, then turn it back on and launch CE.
You mentioned short gameplay it doesn’t happen so maybe start with under the time of which it starts to lose stuff. So it that is 3 hours, try at 2 hours, so on and so forth.
Tks. Ok, I’ll try it out.
Thanks Kiki for trying out to help. Unfortunately it did not work. It works only up to 15min, and only if I don’t do anything meaninful (discover a new place, learn something or try a dungeon). Today all 4 tries up to 40min the logout frozed and some content got lost. Looked for the historic of complains in Playstation and it seems to happen from time to time. The game is great but Funcom, unlike other developers like Hello Games and GGG really worried about the player’s experience, seems to not care very much. I bought every DLC (except Siptah) and thought about buying some Bazaar content that looks cool, and naybe trying out Dune (love sandbox space games like No Man’s Sky), but won’t risk to lose money and mostly my time trying to enjoy a game that keeps pushing me out. Again, thanks KIki, the community seems very supportive but the Company not so much.
@fstranieri perhaps trying to play in co-op mode it might save differently I have not played offline in years. Welcome to the Forum. Also try saving to the cloud.
I’m sorry that didn’t work
I wish I had further suggestions. But you can lean on other PS players like @sestus2009 and @stelagel, very helpful.
The reason i had nothing to suggest is because the only way is to fully delete this session and restart all over again.
This however will give no guarantee that he ain’t going to endure other issues our single player has, like 59 attribute points on lvl 60 for example.
If however @fstranieri wants to restart there are 2 things i will suggest.
- Play 2 hours, log out restart console and continue playing.
- In order to use admin panel, you have to do it delicate and after finishing with the jobs on admin panel restart the console to continue on survival.
It’s a mess brother, my condolences.
I am sorry i couldn’t help.
Sorry @stelagel I forgot I already tagged you.
I feel like a Playstation “how to” post would be really beneficial but I wouldn’t know where to start.
I agree they can’t do anything about the attribute bug but it’s the other stuff, I’m simply not knowledgeable enough.
There’s nothing to be sorry about sister, it’s only joy to tag me .
But unfortunately this behavior on single player is well know, although a console cleaning could be beneficial too. But it smells bugged behavior from miles. When a player creates too much in his-her session, this behavior is standard.
