I’m having an issue with my my items in the game. When I logged in, everything I own now lists someone else as the owner and I can’t interact with any of it, so I’m also trapped inside my house as I can’t open the door.
My username is Castela217 (character is Castela) on the PS5 and the new owner is ‘The Cabal’.
Were you part of a clan?
Hey, yeah I was briefly. I did notice that I’m not in the clan anymore, but I haven’t seen anyone online with the name or clan name matching the new ownership name yet.
Was just thinking if you may of been booted from your clan so they could steal your stuff, then they changed the clan name.
Oh yeah that makes sense, I didn’t realize property ownership would transfer to the clan. I’m assuming there’s no way to get it back if that’s the case?
Nope, it belongs to the clan even if noone is in the clan. You could wait out the decay timer, or if someone is still in the clan wait for them to come online and ask them to give your non-placed assets.
There’s other less friendly, more destructive options as well of course, but i’d rather not advertise those. If you scroll around a bit you’ll find out what those are, as it is very much a current issue.
Well I was planning to relocate, the base was basically just a box by the river so no big loss and lesson learned. Thanks for the help!
