Lost Password Request (Not Working for Months)

Has anyone else had issues with the account page’s Lost Password Request?

Last year I tried to log in and couldn’t (forgot my password), so went to redo it. I have in the past with 0 problem.

I remember, somewhat vaguely, that either the username or email does not work when using the Lost Password Request page, and it apparently times out if you use it too much. (I.e. If you don’t remember which email your account is tied to or input both email and username??)

Now, I have tried over months to connect my account and it does. not. work. Also waited in hopes it would be back up and working.

IT NO WORKY WORKY. :squinting_face_with_tongue:

To make doubly sure I’m doing this right, I even tried it with a 2nd account that I can log into just fine, and obviously know the info to and STILL never received an email.:skull:

Any ideas? (Also please, please fix! :kissing_face:)

Searching the forum returns the following info.
Password reset has been broken for many years.
No email ever arrives.
Password reset is for account login only - from there you can reset in game password. (I honestly thought both were one in the same, at least mine are and have been since TSW)
I think you need to contact one of the mythical GM’s in a direct message to have any account issues like this sorted.
Who are they? No idea - I would have tagged andy but he is no longer here.
I would ask about this in the official discord - as a few of the results showed that you had to contact them direct.
