So, it’s been great to see the horse update:)
However, it will be awesome to allow certain interactions on horseback, like, open a gate, or talk to an NPC.
Also, shield+sword on horseback is definitely wanted!

and also to do some emotes, like saluting etc…, having to dismount horse to do salute emote is a problem

Hello everyone! Good morning! I agree ! I like to leave my horse inside buildings but it’s a nuisance to have to dismount just to open the doors/ gates! The emotes would be great , but not all off them would work well on horseback! About the shield, I’m not so sure! I’ve never seen a mounted fighter with a shield before, it’s just too difficult to use it while on horseback! The horse should be our shield! And then you could use the horse armor!
Maybe you have not seen them before, but there are historic examples.
From Roman cavalry
To medieval Knights
to list only two.
Some of the shields we have on CE are clearly made for infantry (e.g. Flawless Hardened Steel Shield), but I would assume that the smaller variants like the Wooden Targe could work quite well on horseback.
But what I would like to have from this suggestion ist the ability to interact, although it might not show good manners to ride into a Building 
What I miss on horseback is the identification of NPC’s.
The ‘tittle bar’ (or whatever you call it) hardly ever shows up and if it does it is usually too late, so the there is a real risk to kill T4’s by mistake.

Hello everyone! Ok my apologies! You are right about shields on horseback, but can you use weapon and shield at the same time while horse-riding? It’s seems too difficult to doo! I have only used one handed weapons up close so far, and a two handed spear for the lounging attack on horseback!
You can use a weapon and torch at the same time don’t see why a shield would be much of a problem to use plus it will look good for Rp purpose as well.
