Make siptah great again

This is depressing.
Siptah is such a good map and PVEC a good middle ground between PVE and PVP.
Do you guys think this low amount of players in siptah is caused by the recent wave of crashes happening there?
Should they make the map free or give it as a BP reward if you finish your first one?

it laks variety , vaults are about the same concept repeated, it could use new dungeons, wich is unlikely since the small team still working on conan is commited to the more popluar exile land.

(i play on both)

That’s not the case for PvE. There’s definitely new players and or returning players everyday playing on Siptah PvE.

Maybe it’s more related to PvE-C? I’d compare the numbers to EL PvE-C for a more accurate understanding.

This is just my opinion and i know it will be an un-liked one, Siptah should be the PVP map. The way its designed, the tower at the middle. It doesnt really have a narrative either. There should be something there at the tower in the middle that rewards PvP in some way. I would remove the dungeons altogether, remove alot of the npc camps, make building almost everywhere and just let people murder the crap out of each other. Maybe everytime you kill someone they drop a “heart of an Exile” item and you can take the hearts to the tower to trade for stuff, i dont know just a thought.

so you want siptah to become pvp, and leave EL only as a PVE map?

cause if that is what you are proposing, you are right, it is not going to be a popular idea among many players.

My PvE server on PlayStation is often dead. So I’m not sure what you’re playing on. It didn’t use to be until the last year or so.

I honestly wouldn’t mind seeing it free, but I think what killed it was the removal of transfers. It was pretty lively during that time.

I highly disagree for Siptah to be for free. The base game already gives a ton for free. Siptah is not expensive for the content it provides.
The reason Siptah is not “popular” for now it’s because people think that Siptah stayed behind. The last 2 weeks i return on Siptah and i enjoy the hell of it. As the matter of fact even the event was easier in Siptah, the round is way faster than exile lands and the corruption received from tp stones is hilarious compared to exile lands.
Siptah right now on single player is suffering saving issues that needs to be fixed ASAP. But online performs really good. Yet i believe it’s because…

Every server with low population performs excellent i guess. On chapter 3 i visited this server and if over 15 people were playing it was crashing or lagging horribly.

Siptah was always empty the only time i SEE Siptah have more 15 players was when Siptah got launched.
i think It Just a waste money for funcom have Siptah servers active and blocked for free players right now almost ALL Siptah servers dont pass 3 players online almost all time 0 online.

What They can do to solve It IS maybe give Siptah for free (since no one are buying It anymore) in battle pass or right now give It like a gift from 6 anniversary from Conan.

Maybe They can try in Future Merge BOTH maps EL and Siptah Because right now its Just a waste time for program team working in a empty map and for funcom holding empty servers online.

Could only make Siptah great again if it ever were great.

I guess no modder, Funcom developer, or given the latest Bethesda and Bioware games, them, can make a better level for CE than Exiled Lands is.

“It just works”.

Have you ever played PvP?

PC

Not going to deny it, that’s how it is on the one I play on. 15 players max, anything more and I play a different game.

yes but this was a long time ago , 2021 i believe, back then i had more time i had a character made on a PvP Server EL, a Siptah Character (when it launched, july?) and a PvE character on EL. I remember it was alright, but logging in to find my base ransacked most of the time was just not fun. Even if i tried to “hide” my base in various ways. It was definitely an experience, as i was an xbox player and other people could send uh “colorful” voice mail messages, lol.

Everyone knows you hate Siptah. That’s no secret. Just because it’s dead on console, doesn’t mean it’s dead on PC.

Plenty of NEW players and or returning players are playing on Siptah right now. At least everyday I have seen 1 or the other this week.

The Server Discord has new members because of the influx of new players. I know this because I invite them all mostly.

@AndersonKain the only thing you’re facts prove is that you don’t have any idea what you’re talking about.

I feel the complete opposite.

Exactly for the same reason, probably.

Siptah is not a map made for a Sandbox survival game.

I like Sandbox survival games, not what Siptah was designed to be.

I like Siptah more because I enjoy the RNG of the recipes. I like that not everyone has the same recipes and it’s not as easy as go here and get X recipe. You actually have to play the game and sometimes farm for recipes. I like games like that. Gives me a sense of accomplishment.

No, they should absolutely not give away Siptah.

Siptah is well worth the current price of just $20. It adds tons of content, new playstyles, new weapons and gear – far, FAR too much to ever just give away.

People deserve to get paid for good work. Siptah is good work that’s worth the price tag. If people wanna buy it, they will. If they don’t, they won’t. But the answer is not to just give this away.

The answer is to simply let the market speak for itself. If people don’t want to buy it, I’m sure they have a great reason that isn’t at all predicated on some review someone wrote out of anger ages ago.

No one ever does that. Right?

There’s argument for balance. Not everything should be left up to RNG, particularly so-called “weighted” RNG the likes of which is employed on surges.

I get it. I was supposed to get Cooking 1,2,3,4 and 9 first for some reason. Can I have the rest now? Farming surge juice and then farming the surge itself is a lot of extra steps for recipes that were just lying around on base game.

Also, it bears mentioning that greater availability of basic recipies like the cooking ones helps create a more level playing field. No one wants to be the overpowered jerk. We want our battles won fair and square. Otherwise, we’d spawncamp the beach.

I prefer the lighting on Siptah, but prefer the biomes on the Exiled Lands.
