Master Weapon Fitting applied to Legendary bow = Broken Bow

I Applied new Master Weapon Fitting to Legendary bow (Bessie’s Bow) and it instantly became broken.
Is this a bug? or intended?

confirmed, i applied master weapon fitting to a hollowbone bow;
result bow broken and no way to repair the bow.

The master weapon fittings deduct 1500 durability. You cannot fit them to weapons of less than 1500 durability, but unfortunately you can fit them to items of exactly 1500 durabilty, which then break.
This seems to be an oversight, they should only be able to be fitted to items of >1500 durability…

It’s not the first time bugs have appeared where it seems to be a case of “>=” vs “>”. There is (or was, haven’t tested recently) a similar problem where you can’t repair weapons or tools that are at 0.5 durability left - presumably because someone coded it as “>= 1” when it should’ve been “> 0”. Admittedly I’m guessing at the cause, but it seems logical.

Thanks… and yes it’s frustrating… The same way nerfing a legendary weapon (even the ones currently owned) but not being able to change the upgrade on them.

BUT

I make the God Breaker armor ONE day before the patch, and the armor values are changed by a patch but DOES NOT affect currently owned armor.

Nerfs affect owned items, why don’t buffs affect owned items?

Great question plus god forbid if u put thick plating on ur breaker set cause the heavy armor buff won’t apply n u stuck with a weaker set than one crafted after patch. It’s RIDICULOUS

you can get formulas at new dungeon at sepermeru obelisk (warmaker…)

I am still seriously irked that nerfs, like the Sobek armor nerf, affects armor you own, but buffs to armor values for many of the armor sets introduced last patch do not.
