Menu Navigation Crash

Game mode: [Offline | Singleplayer]
Problem: [Crash | Bug]
Region: [Inventory]

Being fairly new to the game itself, I find this game very loveable and definitely has a steep incline on learning how it plays out. Being experimental on various games in many ways, I like to branch out and mess with each and every aspect of the game mechanics. However things would “supposedly” crash at random, typically only happening in the main menu, and this was after just casually playing the game trying to build a base. This happened to me in single player offline mode, and I feel as though it is possible to happen in Online mode as well as this is an inventory navigation crash.

Inventory is a no doubt main feature in any RPG and since using both the Analog and D-Pad simultaneously for faster navigation is a nasty habit I typically have. In this game however is very finicky in a certain spot for some reason, or might be frame perfect? Not 100% sure. But once you open your inventory, pressing Left on both the D-Pad and Left Analog stick simultaneously while on the left-most side of the inventory menu, crashes the game.

Usually I find these crashes specifically as overflow crashes but in this case, it seems specifically tied to a very specific way. I have no idea if it crashes in any other manner, but this is extremely consistent to pull off.

I’m not sure if this was initially discovered and is being corrected after the last patch but this bug happens to be very obnoxious. Won’t stop me from playing though.

Steps on how to reproduce issue:

  1. Open inventory(touchpad)
  2. Have cursor on the left-most side of the screen.
  3. Press Left on the D-Pad and the Left Analog stick at the same exact time.

Heya! Thanks a ton for taking the time to report this. I’ll check with the devs if they’re aware of this or not but thank you so much in any case! We should be able to reproduce this from what you’ve given us but I’ll get back to ya if we need any more info. Sorry for the trouble with that though!!
