Just to put the information out there to anyone playing an SP game, I disconnected my Xbox from the internet and was able to stop the meteors from spawning. Here’s the steps I took:
1- Disconnect Xbox from the internet in network settings(Go Offline)
2- Power Xbox off and disconnect power cord for about 15 seconds
3- Plug everything back in and when Xbox is back on go into settings->system->time and set the date to November, 7th, 2018.
4- Start Conan and go into your SP world and choose to play offline. For me about 3 more meteors spawned and then it stopped.
5- Quit the game and then go back to your network settings and reconnect to the internet. (Your date/time will automatically fix itself)
6- Now go back to your game and select your world and this time select to do Co-Op. For me another 3 meteors spawned and then stopped.
After this I waited about 30 minutes and didn’t see any more meteors, but I went ahead and got a keyboard and set both the spawn and decay timers to 900. Have been playing for about 1hr now and haven’t experienced the constant meteor spawn again yet. Meteors will spawn about 5-6 at a time and will last long enough for me to collect them all. Will update if the infinite lag rain comes to my world again.
That method didnt help me when i tried it… but I put my settings back to default, re-logged and the meteor shows stopped, now they only come when I’m in an area where they fall.
I played for about 5 hours and they didn’t constantly fall for me after I managed to get them to stop. Just tried to put out what worked for me in case it helped someone else, but what can you do.
If your game itself will not start then you would have to make sure your purchases are set correctly and the Xbox you’re on is your home Xbox for the account that purchased the game.
Just wanted to let you know that we’re working on a hotfix to make sure meteors can’t spawn too frequently.
On PS4 there were some players who were able to work around the spammy meteor showers by resetting their single-player server settings back to the default setting, then logging out and back in again. Might work on Xbox too
Not to be in a constant state of complaints, but IS THERE AN END TO THIS ISSUE YET? Its been days since we’ve been able to play a single player game, i dint want to start over rebuilding my charachter in multiplayer… Please, ANY news would be appreciated.
