Ps4 single player offline mode star metal meteorites not falling in. Any help from the devs maybe add a new setting to adjust the meteorites or possibly force the meteor showers?

are you guys sure it does not spawn at all? I thought the same on PC for a long time, but in fact it did spawn.
The problem in SP is that every time you log out, the meteors despawn and it may take a long time for them to respawn.
It might be possible that you have to be in the north for them to spawn at all in SP, not sure about that, but better be safe than sorry…
I do not know though if you guys on ps4 still have the bug where most of the meteors get destroyed on impact, this f***ed me big time aswell back then.

I think ChaosTheory has the right…theory.
Is not like they don’t fall at all in single player, is that they fall very rarely by default, and while an online server is a persistent universe that stays active 24/7 so you have higher chances to find them on the ground, a single player “server” is active only when you are.
So if the meteors have 1 chance to fall lets say every 24 hours, you should be online and possibily present in the north for those 24 hours ( I know, crazy). Plus, the game may resets the meteors on the ground everytime you quit the game.
Is the same story with breaking thralls in the wheel, when you play online you put the thrall in the wheel and forget about, the day after is done and you pick it up.
In single player you have to stay active for the whole time the wheel breaks the thrall, because when you log out the game doesnt exist and clearly the process stops.

Bottom line:
Save yourself a headache and use the adm panel to get your star metal.

The despawing part is certain, I tested it with an unbreakable meteor.
It is not as bad as one spawn every 24 hours, probably more like 3-4

I would suggest staying afk in the north over night while breaking some T4 thralls at the same time, then checking for meteors in the morning, asfaik metors despawn aswell as soon as the next patch of them appers in the sky, so don’t expect dozens of them to be there then

No metor spawns.
