Missing items/recipes breaking (dedicated server)

Two days ago we were playing on my dedicated server (some mods) and everything was working great. logged in today and all the baby pets in the works exist but do not create items when you pick them up, you can learn the pens but it teaches you nothing. Also noticed that some of the new content from the latest patch ie. bees/the potion for the new dungeon/and all the pet skins from the DLC do not place in your inventory/craft. after checking in admin spawn panel those items simple don’t exist. The pets were working the day before and any pet we have tamed before the items went missing still work.

Any thoughts anyone on missing assets? I have update/validated my server via steam and nothing was amiss.

My wife needs those pets in here life

Step one is listing those, and going through their Workshop pages to see if it’s a known bug. Step two is disabling them (preferably one by one), and seeing if that fixes the problem. I am aware that this might not be viable for you, depending on which mods they are. If it isn’t, you’ll probably have to buckle down and wait for those mods to be fixed. Which could happen any time, or never, depending on the mod. It’s an unfortunate but unavoidable cost of using mods.

Mods would be the culprit even though no changes to mods were made between the day everything worked and the day they vanished?

Maybe. They’re certainly the go-to suspect, and I doubt many people (outside your server) will spend much time trying to find the cause without first ruling out the mods as the culprit.

Ok thanks, I am currently working on the process of ruling out mods.

Update : Issue has been resolved after removing a stack size mod and a crafting cost reduction mod. Unsure what what one was the real issue but now that it’s fixed i’m not going to push my luck haha

Thanks for the tips I will remember this method if I have issues again!
