Heya I’m fairly new to the game I play single player on Xbox and I’ve noticed a issue with mobs no spawning after killing me. For example close to my base is some tigers I let them kill me to go to my sleeping bag across the map and ever since then no tigers in that area are spawning. The same thing happened in my first play through with the birds and again with some huge snakes on snake island so I restarted single player. And now still having the issue but with tigers. I’m obviously trying not to get killed so nothing else disappears I was just wondering if anyone else is having this bug?

Have not had that problem. I guess you are using no loss on death. If you want to kill yourself pull your bracelet. Don’t understand why letting them kill you despawns area. @FGBTroy Welcome to the Forum.
Thank you and I found out about pulling the bracelet last night lol. And yeah it’s weird it could have nothing to do with me dying it’s just when I’ve noticed them not there anymore has been right after a death lol. Do you think it could be cause I’ve built my base close to them? I would think that might make one or two not respawn but not every tiger in that area lol

If you build to close it will block spawns. What is too close experiment with a few foundations.
Okay thank you very much! As someone that bought the game when it first came out and couldn’t play due to bugs I’m super happy to be able to play now. Besides the tiger issue and elephants being invisible it seems the game runs so much better now.

I started day one Ps4 it has it’s ups and downs have about 3500 hours on secondary character lots more on primary character. New age of war coming soon. Let’s see how it works

So after logging in today I had a bigger issue than just tigers not being there all resources were gone. After a little research I found a solution. Since I was having this issue in single player all I did was make myself the admin changed the difficulty setting and re started the game. After the restart everything was back to normal

Interesting, I’m wondering if your config got botched somehow. Resetting difficulty would overwrite the old one.

I’m not sure I do play with boosted harvesting and a longer day. I also noticed I can finally see elephants. Even before having the tigers and other stuff glitch I always had that issue with invisible elephants
