Scorpions keep spawning in my base and the sandstorm kills me inside even with full shelter

Just walking in my base loc:ated at the middle southern part of C-7 on the map
Welcome to the Forum Exile. I have had sandstorm kill me before on official servers before near boss crocodile and Sinners refuge. Always keep a sandstorm mask on you and when logging out keep it on. My base is on a island with nothing but a few few turtles my followers keep at bay wasn’t on long this evening @MemyselfandI
I am indeed in a desert between the rhino horn ridge and brim lake. I appreciate the mask advice thankfully the problem only seems to be an issue on the ground floor
Curious, do you have no foundations/ceilings for a floor?
