Would also be great for a mini pool I am making with dancers bouncers and random thralls.

More animated thralls would be nice if they could be made to perform just 1 specific action at a time and it could be learned like emotes.

Hello everyone!
In my humble opinion, FC can’t implement bikini armor out of nowhere. But, as they own the Conan franchise, and not the red Sonja franchise if I understood well, they can implement lore friendly armor from characters such as Belith, Akivasha, etc…
Wait and see .
Have a nice day !

I am all over this idea. But. The chain mail bikini must be the following.

Accuracy
Medium
Cold Weather Protection

All if the above make sense for this style of armor

Accuracy doesn’t. Agility or Grit, maybe, but not accuracy.

Medium I agree with. It still drives me crazy trying to figure out how the Hyborean armor already in the game counts as heavy.

It would be warm weather protection unless it also had fur and a cape.

I believe @Hexsing was a tiny wee little bit sarcastic here and chose those properties that would fit the least

I have 0 idea what you mean.

I’ll just stick to my Zamorian Thief set for cold weather. Super warm

I think the amount of agility it gives makes you to fast for the cold.

On a side note. We need a cold accuracy set

2011 Conan movie wasn’t the greatest piece of the franchise.

But it got one thing very right : costumes.

They really fit into the Conan visual universe.

Age of Conan actually had them introduced in game though micro transaction.

And i wonder if the licence allowed Funcom to use these costumes in Age of Conan only or in any conan game they’d make.

Becasue i’d really like to have these 2011 Conan movie costumes in Conan Exiles. Especially Marique’s gold costume (left).

Red Sonja (or, more accurately, Red Sonja of Rogatino) was introduced by Robert E. Howard in the 1934 short story The Shadow of the Vulture set in the 16th century and at her start had nothing to do with Conan’s Hyborian Age.
Then in 1973, writer Roy Thomas and artist Barry Windsor-Smith recreated her for Marvel Comics. Lazy writing, if you ask me; but easy on the eyes…lol.
In Conan Exiles, Funcom pulled Yamatai out of their hats and shoved it into Conan’s world. Yamatai’s legend is out of time for Conan as it’s a country not shown in Chinese history until c. 300 bc - 300 ad.
That said, with all the unimaginative, unoriginal ideas and lazy writing going on these days, there doesn’t seem to be a reason Funcom can’t sketch in an armor bikini for fans to drool over on their red headed character.
I’ve always maintained that there’s plenty of lore created by Howard himself and no need to throw in stuff that’s out of time or that makes little to no sense to the lore of our favorite character…Conan of Cimmeria.

Even if copyrights wouldn’t allow it, I’d think they could change them enough to avoid copyright complications, yet keep them recognizable. If they have nothing else, Funcom has some formidable artists.

non heavy

Maybe the chain mail bikini has been the key to fixing the bugs all this time?

Maybe its our Obi-Wan Kenobi. Our only hope?

But medium armor actually does make the most sense for it.

I’d just prefer if they stripped all stats from armour and put them into mods thus allowing me to wear what i want an mod it how i want

The PVP peeps would freak. Cuz armor is an indicater of the persons build. I do think we should be able to create linings for hot and cold though so we can wear what we want in the climate we want.

Right, eh !

That’s not like if the Hyperborean Slaver armor was a heavy armor and Ymir’s armor a light armor !

Wait … :unamused:

Hyperborian has mystic boob plate though. Very magical stuff.

It could also have a charisma effect on the opposite â– â– â–

You mean like this…

I don’t think any of us would freak as long as the armor classes stay the same. I don’t wanna see someone in silent legion rolling like it’s light armor lol.

Personally it annoys me that I have to mix and match armors that don’t look visually appealing together for my pvp builds. The only tryhard armor mix I found that looks nice uses 2 legendary armors lol
