These are my top issues with Conan that I’d like to see fixed. It is from a PVE perspective. If anyone sees any issues not already logged, please let me know and I’ll log them:
Crafters disappearing
View obstructed error when building in cramped spaces
Getting pushed off ledges when climbing to the top - example bridges in unnamed city.
Occasionally stamina gets stuck and won’t regenerate for a while
Falling thru foundations
Unable to find location to start purge
Thrall pathing is buggy
Thralls stop attacking if they were placed in chairs or door ghost slots. Requires standing them on ground and server reset to fix.
Mass cull not harvesting fiber or bugs
Knocked out thralls disappearing under mesh until you leave area and return
Items disappearing in inventory - both player and bench inventories
Crafting all on a bench (Y on Xbox) often does not craft. Have to use cross pad to move cursor a few times before it will craft.
Occasionally quick transferring items will transfer all items even if they aren’t in the target inventory
Dropping items occasionally drops the wrong items (probably due to items being hidden in inventories)
Taking items from a bench using the hover menu often stops you from taking the last item (probably due to sorting)
Inventories occasionally lose their configured sort
Equipping armor (like sandstorm mask) from inventory occasionally rubber bands back to previous armor
Character occasionally gets stuck in a direction during combat
Tavern patrons frequently cannot be interacted with / purchased
Dyeing bench’s size is colossal but still can’t hold all dyes and dying ingredients when creating dyes or dying items. I’d have 2 new separate benches - one for crafting dyes with inventory big enough to hold 1 full stack of all dying ingredients and another for dying items with inventory big enough to hold 1 stack of all dyes. Each station should be about 1 x 1 x 1 in size.
Bench inventories not pulling resources from lowest quantity stack in order to preserve slots
Thrall inventory not pulling food from lowest quantity stack in order to preserve slots
No ability to quickly re-stack inventories of player, bench, or thrall
General lag and rubber banding
Building decay timers not working
Legendary Chests in Silver mine don’t always have loot and sometimes drop items in a bag.
Building in certain areas like around silver mine and sinner’s refuge blocks resources like iron and coal in the caves
Chests occasionally lose stability on shelves (wall shelves)
Thralls not able to walk thru Aesir doorframe or Aesir tall doorframe
Armors often glitch thru other armors creating weird looking aesthetics - example leather apron and most pants
Carpets often let floor glitch thru creating weird aesthetics
Need command to “send thrall to base” after rescuing thrall from cage
Difficulty drinking water or filling water skins from well
Unable to use controller to select last item in the Bazaar after selecting a package
No ability to use controller to spin character or zoom when viewing armor in Bazaar - hard to see what you are buying
Need multiple save files (nameable) on xbox for single player
New containers and treasure chests should close automatically
To keep it short and sweet, #15 please. Reduce the bench size just a smidge and give it at least 50% more inventory. I currently have a large crate next to my dyer’s bench filled with dyes ánd a storage crate for the loose ingredients. The bench itself is also full with (all different!) dyes. I don’t even have all the dyes made!
Currently the dyer’s bench and whatever is needed for it just takes a lot of space. Like 1.5-2x the space the expert benches need for something that is fairly basic and in my opinion not optional since there’s no alternative.
1 chest for neutral dyes
1 chest for red, orange, and yellow dyes (roy)
1 chest for green dyes (g)
1 chest for blue and violet dyes (biv)
1 chest for dye ingredients
1 chest for brushes
1 chest for sloughing liquid
I put the top 5 chests on one of those Aesir shelving units and the other 2 out in front. Takes nearly as much space as the dyeing bench itself.
This is a render issue. That thrall is still laying, if you look around on the ground you will get it’s prompt. But this is a legacy bug and has proven to be beyond funcom’s ability to fix.
Thanks for the confirmation.
This needs a major rework, this got all funcomed a while back.
Sometime I can find the prompt. Sometimes I can’t. I’m m not sure if that is because I’m just not pointing in the right spot or because it occasionally gets buried so deep under the mesh it prevents the prompt.
Funny thing is this only happens to npcs. Knocked out or killed they appear to vanish. If you have a lock on them your aim will actually follow them through the ground. Which is wierd because we know the actual model isn’t. Or at least the npcs prompt point.
Animals, skeletons, monsters, bosses, none but NPCs fall through.
Oh, you left off push off ledges. I die more to this bug then any other.
No, when you get to the top rather then pull up on to the ledge you push off away from it. When I was farming fragments in the unnamed city it happened a lot.
There are other bugs too. For example, when fighting large bosses like dragons and crocodiles, thralls often find themselves driven into the ground up to their shoulders or necks.
But, as far as I understand, all the bugs associated with falling below the mesh level are incorrigible at this stage.
Fixed an issue where thralls would be driven into the ground by large creatures such as dragons.
Thralls will now enter the Down But Not Out state when driven into the ground.
I have a base near the Crocodile Lake, and I level up my thralls on the crocodile boss. This bug happens one from three times. Moreover, several years ago I did not notice this with crocodiles, only with dragons.
