Hardcore Hyborians was made to be an immersive and challenging experience. We want people to be able to enjoy the challenges the game has to offer with vanilla rates, while also maintaining an active roleplay community.
The most notable change aside from aesthetic mods was the decision to have monsters deal increased damage to better simulate what it would be like to get jumped by all kinds of wildlife and beasts along with longer nights.
We feel that these rates impact the game world in a satisfying way, making the progression both meaningful and interesting!
