We need some server settings really badly! You should be able to set a repair cool down when buildings get attacked. I would like to do some test with it where is a structure takes damage it will take 5 min before it can get repaired again.
This would make it so that one player can not stop an entire raid by just repairing. He would need to go out and destroy the trebuchet or stop the raiders by placing followers(Improve the Ai plz!).
I would also like an option to disable explosive jars but still be able to build Demonfire barrages. This would balance the raiding a lot more. Right now the Explosive jars are way to fast to raid with and in my opinion overpowered.
The overpowered part is because of the fast way you destroy doors and that you can place em on enemy structures. They invite offline raiding and this is a really sad thing!
If any on knows how to remove explosive jars and replace the Demonfire barrages cost on my server then plz message me I will be really happy if we could do this
My guess to “remove” the explosive jars, in the item id their may be a damage number. Just set it to 0 and let the server know they are “turned” off. Same for the barrage. increase it i guess. But that would be a mod requiring dev-kit skills. I have the tool set, but just don’t have the time to dig in and see if it is possible, or if there are other areas that need to be edited.
As far as cool down, outside my scope of home brewing knowledge completely.
I know that in the ARK server you can adjust the cost of items by loading it in the server game.ini and in the same way you can hide and item form the construction menu. I am just wondering if i can do the same thing in the Conan server files?
It could also be that i can somehow set the explosive jar to not be placeable maybe? Then i would not need to change the cost of the trebuchet explosive, since the explosive jar would no be able to be placed for detonation but still used in the recipe
