Hello fellow exiles ! Ignasis hyped me a lot with a post saying that soon, a new chosen of Asura will arise ! And right now, i was wondering who will have this privilege ! And it’s really hard with a community that is sooooo awesome, and I really mean it ! I’m not here since a lot of time, but I’ve already met wonderful people and I’m just having a blast with you all right now ! I also want to use this post to say a big THANK YOU to the dev team and give a huge heart to everyone in this forum ! But anyway, that’s not the point, I legitimately want to know who you guys think is worthy of this title ! For me, it’s really hard to decide, they are so many good people around here 
like @Barnes, @Zeb,@Larathiel etc… That’s just a few people that i think could have this title, but there are so many (and I can’t put more than 3 users in a post 
) !

I love helping people in the game. I post a lot less now because I only post if I feel I have something to add or to confirm what someone already posted.

I learn new things from the forums and bug reports. People have some issues sometimes that sends me testing things like crazy.
The reason why I tell you this is because I have interacted with @Larathiel @Barnes and @Zeb they are all awesome and amazing people in my opinion who want to help others on the forums just like I do. I’m honored to even be listed next to these great folks.
I don’t come on here to be a Chosen of Asura and I know they don’t either! Whomever it may be I know it will be the right decision because there are great people to choose from.
Oh wow, I’m just honored that a few folks would even think to toss my name in the hat! 
Personally, I know I’ve benefitted from @Wak4863’s video series, and @Barnes’ ability to keep cool and stay amicable in a debate is a quality I very much admire. Also been enjoying @Zeb’s efforts as our semi-official pollster and the ensuing discussions they spark; she’s got some nice positivity going and does a good job of leaving bias out of the poll options.
I’ve always wanted to be a Chosen of Asura, but I feel like the honor should come to those who deserve it, not those who ask for it. I don’t know the lore of Asura, and I don’t know enough about forum regulars and how they contribute to the community, so it’d be tough for me to make a guess. I don’t assist players like others on here do because I have social anxiety, or sometimes they’re already answered. But good luck to whoever gets the title, and congratulations to them.
Can we have a Chosen of Asura purge? I want to be able to tell stories of clubbing Multigun and Crom’s Faithful before turning them over to Manos.
No way in hell it’s me, though I would love to see how they’d handle my screenname.
I’m in the same boat. Plus my anxiety comes with a nice side order of depression which makes me just drop off the radar for weeks at a time when it gets really bad.

Nasal Bonkers
There are many ways to be recognized for Asura besides posting on the forums. If an Asura title is a goal, and that’s fine to have, there are other positive ways to contribute to the game and it’s community. Find your strength and role with it, or do a little bit of everything.
I realize this is going to sound stupid coming from me (since I’m you know, an Asura), but the Chosen award is a title, and it’s a great. But it’s not the be all and end all. Your fellow community members will recognize your name and be thankful you are around, despite a fancy title next to your forum name or an in-game Thrall. Evidence of that can be found in this very thread, with people here posting names of those who they believe are deserving of the recognition.
So, as cheesy as this is inevitably going to sound, forum title or not, if you are helpful, people will see and be thankful for that.
Well then, I guess it is time for the reigning Asura to offer up his picks before the sun sets on my time. I feel I should offer you all an apology that I havent been as active as usual during my time. Unfortunately my my work situation as been intolerable as of late. Around mid november I should be able to become more active again.
Now onto the predictions. Gavinrad it would seem that you already beat me to 3 of my 5 potential candidates. I have seen Barnes and Wak4863 hard at work with help and technical assistance (this poor sod being one such grateful recipient). And Zeb has also provided much help, but also brought her own creative spark and flair to us all. I will however point out another two who I think are not to be underestimated here… @Testerle and @LordKAA, I also feel are ones to watch. I would happily welcome any of you.
Whoever it is you will have my good wishes and congratulations. Soon another shall bear the hallmark concussion of the Chosen of Asura.
So true ! As I said, I’m not here since a lot of time and the ones that I listed are some people that, in my few weeks of activity, stood out of the crowd ! @Wak4863 was also in my mind, @Kapoteeni too for exemple ! Those people are just friendly players that want to help, just for the sake of helping and nothing more, and that is awesome. And yes @Multigun, if I was in charge, I’d also put a whole bunch of people as Chosen
There is one thing you can always count on with Shadoza and that’s you always advocate for single players and new players alike. You may even be the only one who really insists on that angle being approached. And while I know all your concerns will never fully be met, there is value in providing feedback from that perspective, especially if you are one of the few (if not the only) person who provides it.
If nothing else, you help inspire my to:do list for single player minded mods also
