No armor on pets

Oke writing this cause i dunno, what happened.
The intro would be like : i had one OP tiger, but well probably after the stat update, i did not used any pets, i was kinda hype that sorcery update was new and went on thralls only… So dunno why i figured a bit play with my tiger on vaults, as there was also ‘‘follower’’ damage nerf and because i am max corrupted wizzard, i also found out that level 20 follower (humanoid) cant kill rocknoose boss or basically any 3 skull world boss, then i checked they stats - humans has like grit now on armor right? its 24 armor ( after 19-20 ) level… even it was more…

Next i can add image of 2 pets or even more with they stats on 5-20 level

Now it has 1 point in it thanks to first perk at level 14
And armor is basically 0

Brutus ( 1 )
It had 20 points as armor atleast more than 780 Armor when i leveled him on level 20

Only level 5 but it had 4 points on armor… now it has 0

As fact to this ( i just placed another Brutus , to check what the hell nor thralls nor pets has any armor)

So check this image, on level 0 he already has 2 points and 32 armor

SO based on this, i can just ask, i have 20 followers on level 20, and good ones by perks BUT every one who are before sorcery are now 0 armor , means they are almost instakill to some npc or beasts…skoggkat was my top tier pet fighter he could stand even storm bosses and tank them, but now he almost died on 3 hits from harpy vault cause of 0 armor…

Simple Q but in raw style : this shiet means i not need to delete all thralls and get new ones and again level them up? i mean this is i dont know if bug but not ok…

Need to know what i can do now cause i cant survive as mage without them and i cant even level up now any of them… and these well, without armor they are dead meat walking…

Yep ran into this issue when I hoarded a bunch of undead. Those that were out, got their armor reduced to null. Those that get placed (IE new format) get the nice bonuses of grit.

Basically your pre-3.0 pets are trash now and time to get new ones…

I just writed as edit, cause i checked not only pets… but will go on new post…

even found out now that also human followers are same and then i was like all time running and thinging what the hell is happening that they take 10% damage from weak enemys, no wonder now, none of follower has any armor on them. and those armors i give as dress cant shield them too much i guess, fookin great… took me half year to level up on luck 2 human thralls to be good and saber and now they are worse than level 0 … :C

Yes, every follower you had pre-3.0, we know!
You didn’t specify whether you’re playing in single player or on an official server etc though.

If you’re in single player you can just fix it:

I used elixir of rebirth (more than one in some cases) on thralls/pets placed before 3.0 because of changes made to attribute system. It helped.

It helps a bit. Elixir only rerolls perks, so if you manage to get godly grit-only perks, it will still be inferior to a post 3.0, level 20 follower without any grit perks.
Thanks to single player, I could admin spawn my pre 3.0 followers, but that still was a huge work, because I wanted them to be as close to the original ones as possible. :laughing:

If I download my server game.db to my pc, put it in one folder with the fix. start the fix and re-upload the (fixed) game.db to the server…
should it work?

It must work. Of course you must make backup just in case but I used to edit game.db by hand when I had a private server. I’ve even replaced building pieces from Stormglass to Aquilonia once :wink:

Yep well, if i write on conan forum, its mostly 95% official only problem…
If i am singleplayer those are 5% Tho i play conan cause of multiplay feature

But ye well so in short, all leveled up followers are no use now? maybe 2 of them who is helpers to get new ones… and has armor dress to shield, even they cant hold any boss… :cry:

I had hope maybe chapter 2 will fix it… but i think wont because i cant find it in buxfix or changelog… :frowning:

No, this will never be fixed imo. They had their opportunity, all they had to do was run the same script on the official server databases when 3.0 released.
However they don’t view this as a bug… because technically it’s not a bug… it’s obscured old data in the database itself, the game is functioning fine in that regard for newly placed stuff.

Next steep, half all stats to player…

… Dont read about next steep thats done already by sorcery … playing with 25 stamina and 300 hp as mage… :smiley:
