just rented a server yesterday and looks like there is not a single mob in the volcano anyone having the same issue ? or knows how to fix it ? i rented the server from Host Havoc.

probably incorrect server setting.
CampsIgnoreLandClaim needs to be True

but there are no buildings in volcano except my map room literally in front of the obelisk
Assuming it’s placed on some foundations, it’s more than enough 
Either way, just double-check the setting, that’s not something that should ever be set to False and some hosting services have incorrect default configuration.
Did this work for you? I am having the same issue currently, but I can’t find that setting anywhere, in server or host. At first, the issue was only in Waterside and Temple Quarter, but I was able to fix those by simply restarting the server. This volcano thing isn’t going away with restarts.
Edit: found it, changed it, it worked! Yey for Xevyr!

For future reference, it’s in ConanSandbox\Saved\Config\WindowsServer\ServerSettings.ini on the server 
And it’s not just specific to the volcano, but every time a very large area seems to be lacking NPCs this could be a possible cause.
