Does anyone know if ‘noob river’ has an actual name? Lore/geographical-wise?

I’d always thought it was based on either the Nile or River Styx.
Noob- is the common tongue spelling
Nuub- is the old stygian spelling,
Newb- is the Northern Tribes spelling
…and there are a few others like:
Noub- which I think is ancient Lemurian but no one can be sure, since the Witch Queen destroyed many of the scrolls and tomes from the previous age.

I actually think that is the eastern part of the river, from the Dregs to bunny island.
