Not loading steam profile

Game mode: [Single-player]
Type of issue: [Crash | Bug | Misc]
Server type: [PvE]
Region: [Local]

I made a new solo game (clean start) was/am using mods from the steam workshop. I went into the character creator and made my new character. When naming the character it will display your steam name first before you get to give them a name. I named the character then started playing. A storm passed over my house and the power got cut for about 1-2 minutes. I restarted my computer and loaded up the game. Everything loads up fine and I even get that DLC pop up on the main menu saying what DLC you have and don’t have. (all the DLC I have purchased are marked as purchased on that screen) I now load up the single-player game from before and I am put back into character creation. When I get up to naming the character it now displays a long name that looks like my computer display name on a network. I name this new character and fined that all DLC is now locked on me and my other character from my steam profile is sleeping on the spot they were when the blackout happened. When I back out to the main menu I fined that all the DLC is now marked as unpurchased. I tried deleting the solo game and making a new solo game. That did not work. I then deleted the game using steam and reinstalled it. That did not work. How do I get back my DLC?

Hey @ES_Avilon

Welcome to our community.
Make sure to close Steam properly and log back in with your account. Make also sure to have all your DLC packs enabled (click on the checkboxes in the game’s tab, DLC section). Then, right click on top of Conan Exiles and select Properties, Local Files, Repair. Let the process finish and download whatever it has to download. Once it’s done, try logging back into your single player game.

No. That has not fixed it.

Have you by any chance enabled family share?

No

Then if any of the previous steps did not work and your previously purchased DLC is marked as not owned. we’d recommend getting in touch with Steam’s customer service to see if there is any problems with the licenses on your account.

I have sent in a support request with steam. I am just waiting on there replay. I also linked them to this forum post so they can see what I have tried and what others have suggested doing.

This is what steam Support had to say.

Hey there,

Thanks for taking the time to reach out to Steam Support, and I’m sorry to hear that you are experiencing this issue with Conan: Exiles.

After reading through the forum, this seems to be an in-game issue as I can confirm that all of your licenses are accounted for.

Since we do not develop or publish Conan Exiles, we do not have the tools required, the insight, nor do we have access to the systems to be able to troubleshoot this issue.

I suggest continuing to work with the Conan Exiles support team. While they may not be able to solve the issue, they are your best source for assistance in this case.

If you have any other questions, please let us know - we’re happy to help.

Just in case, could you unsubscribe from ALL mods (and delete the Workshop folder just in case there is any leftover, then re-validate your game files (as instructed above) and then try again?

Yes that has fixed it. It took me a bit to fined the Workshop folder (i was initially looking for it in the Conan Exiles folder) but i found it in the steamapp folder. I deleted the folder with the same ID code as Conan Exiles has. I did notice that i could not open that folder for some reason.

Thank you for your help Ignasis.
