Bug Description:
THE PROBLEM
After you run out of pursuit range a couple times, HUMANOID NPCS don’t use their weapons and fight bare handed.
NON HUMANOIDS simply stop fighting at all and just follow you in melee range (Melee NPCS, I didn’t test ranged NPCs) until you kill them without any opposition (Gamebreaking).
I encountered this bug dozens of timesand it is not limited to Undeads or simply Humanoids. It’s an NPC widely spread BUG that began with Age of War Chapter 4 OR one of the following Hotfixes.
I had this bug on a dedicated server and decided to test out if I could reproduce it on an official server. My goal was to determine if the problem came from my Mods or from the vanilla game.
Bug Reproduction:
TEST ON HUMANOID
I logged on into the official EU PvE server 1044.
In order to reproduce the bug, I ran to the Middle North part of C5 and entered the Unamed City, heading East :

Aggroed 1 skeleton (AbandonedCity_Skeleton_Fighter, probably).

Ran out of pursuit range.

Came back to the same undead getting Aggro again, he still used his weapon (Looks like a Darfari bone sword. Also at this point, I accidentally took aggro from a second identical skeleton.
(At this point everything is normal.)

Ran out of Aggro range.

Came back the first Skeleton stopped using his sword and fought bare handed. The second one fought with his sword.

Ran away from chasing range.

Came back into agro range, both Skeletons were now fighting bare handed.
8+) I rinsed and repeated the same process four more times, both skeletons would never use their weapons again and fight bare handed.
CONCLUSION : After 2 Aggro loss, Humanoïd NPCS lose their ability to use their weapons.
TEST ON NON HUMANOID
You can get the same result on a non humanoid by aggroing the Scorpion Boss (3 Skulls) in the Middle East part of F5 and running away from pursuit range twice.
The Scorpion Boss will then follow you in melee range but never attack again.
CONCLUSION : After 2 Aggro loss, Non Humanoïd NPCS lose their ability to attack.
WARNING : Do not approach NPCs in and Creative mode, this will make the bug appear even faster especially if you spawn the NPC yourself (From test on private server).
Exemple : I was in creative Mode on a Private Server, spawned the Witch Queen, seen her sheathe her weapon at spawn, and from there on fight bare handed whenever I turned Creative Mode Off or ran out of pursuit range and came back…
