Bug Description:
Some skeletons (including bosses) do not use / equip their weapons.
I suppose a specific weapon is bugged, this boss should be holding a spear.
I’m finding this happens quite frequently, and not just with skeletons - NPCs in camps on the Exiled Lands also frequently opt to fist fight rather than using a weapon. Strangely, some even choose to fist fight while holding a weapon in their hand (performing punching animations despite the weapon being visible). This last example makes me wonder if maybe the glitch is something to do with the new system that displays weapons in NPCs hands all the time (which could also do with some improvement since they frequently perform emotes while holding weapons, and look quite silly doing so…)?
I think skeletons bug was present before (a year or a half ago), it returned during the last update. Just like elevators that only work after the second pull - yes it came back too.
I am currently back on the official servers to try to replicate some bugs. At that time I will pay attention to the behavior of the NPCs by the way.
Oh yes, I have that two pulls for the elevator bug as well, but only the first time I use the elevator in a session (singleplayer) - each time I log in the bug resets and each elevator needs to be pressed twice. Elevators used to always start in ‘up’ position, now they show wherever I last left them before I logged off, but it’s like they aren’t actually ‘down’ that first time. But if I started out above the elevator (having logged out with it ‘up’), it doesn’t take two pulls, only one. Makes me think maybe the elevator is partially trying to use the old system where it always goes back to the top position when reloading, but maybe just leaving the graphics for the elevator in whatever position it was left and winding up confusing itself.
Won’t lie I’m actually happy with this, skeletons have always been annoying as hell with the 4 hit combo spam they keep doing if they miss and always lunge attacking, those undead dicks can go without weapons for good for all i care😂
Honestly it’s time we got revenge on skeletons for all the stagger
I don’t have the 2.5 yet, but all the enemies (thralls too) do this. Usually happens when you attack them before they notice you. And if you keep attacking them, they won’t have much time to pull their weapons out.
It is useful when you fight a hard hitting enemy, but still considered ‘not working as intended’ I guess.
