Nudity issue
I have a private server, and noticed recently that my nudity settings (full both in game and server) are listed as full, but do not show up in game. I have read some work arounds like changing the number to 2 in a conansandbox .ini file, but even changing that, checking the same ini line via gportal, etc does not change the setting in game.
If you’re sure the server side settings are right.
Try starting a new game in single player with full nude enabled, then go back to the server.
In any case the dev’s will want to know if full nude works in SP, to help isolate the issue.
If you have a SP game you don’t want to lose, you can back up the game.db found in the saves folder.
In starting a new game in SP, the full nude setting is selected, but not displayed.
USA and UK have different meaning of what is nude, i think west side of world map atleast half year ago was supposed to download some additional content for it… and this is not bugs, just u have law protecting booties not like europe who does not give F on nude beach and so on 
but it may be changed now so yee u could wait devs answer…
The nude setting must be set to full in two places.
One on the server - select Server Settings Scroll down to Maximun Nudity see that it reads “full” as in this picture
And Two on the client - select GamePlay see that Nudity is set to “full” as in this picture
Also US PC has full Nudity @NeoTheMatrix as you can see from this hopefully tasteful picture
If the braided hair is enough to make the image passable on the forum.
You didn’t say if you are using Mods, some older mods alter the “wraps”
Maybe that could be why things are not displayed properly.
I was using mods 3 mods, and the nudity setting was working 2 days ago with those mods. I took the mods out 1 at a time, restarting SP each time until there was just the base game. I went into the SP with no mods, with Nudity to full on all menus. I also checked the setting on the Gportal, in the server setting.ini, maxnudity is set to 2. When creating a new character, even making sure the nudity is set to full, it displays the wraps.
So you’re talking about a thrall? You should have specified that it was a dancer.
Your character can remove it’s clothing and be nude?
If you are talking about the thrall?.. it’s a old glitch, give her clothing then take it away.
she should then appear nude. You may need to do it again after each server restart,
but it will eventually stop happening.
Another trick would be after you have the thrall nude, give her the dancer anklets and bracelets.
For some reason having some clothing equipped stops the glitch.
No, the first time I noticed the problem is when I would repair the armor on my character. Before it would show everything, now when I repair his armor, it shows a loin cloth. I then tried to get a thrall nude, and the wraps are all that appeared.
Well at this point, we need more information.
Does nudity work in single player?
Does it work on other servers? such as an Official server?
I suspect one of the start up files (ini) has a read only property ticked.
If it turns out nudity does happen in other places than your server, closer examination of the servers start up would be suggested.
If no nudity persists under all circumstances closer inspection of the local game startup is called for.
If it turns out to be a client issue IE not the server, you could try deleting all of the *.ini files then verify local files to have steam reinstall them.
As a last ditch effort, a total reinstall might be required, under those conditions, trying a different install folder (this is an option under steam) would prevent the errant file from reemerging.
Same with the server, except reinstalling to a different folder depends on the host of the server.
Ok, did an integrity check via steam, all checked out. Went onto an official server/other then mine, and the nudity when creating a new character is shown when set at full. So now I have to figure out what file is read only, as you suggested.
I took another look at the images you posted.
I noticed you show the server setting twice.
Did you check the other place I suggested? the Gameplay setting here…
that did it, I guess I had to physically change it from none, to full and back, and now I have T/A. Thanks
