hi guys, so i have so i have some questions, ive noticed more and more since the whole magic update that server performance is worse, it lags, it crashes , pvp is somewhat impossible with certain individuals, why is it people with high ping can hit you but you cannot hit them?
i understand people can be better at pvp ,im not saying im the best, just saying its annoying farming all day to put a kit on and lose it in 0.1 sec to some dude thats a million miles away, or being far away from a fight and just getting hit.
i also understand that it can be server lag etc… but why does it always favor these people that are already always lagging? here is one of many examples
like i said before doesnt happen with everyone, just those players it always happens to, and also when them players are on server , server is even more lag lag, and when they near you… god help you
Those who are laggy (either on purpose, ping abusing or far from a server) have always been favoured in how the server determines what is “true” in the programming.
Lag has always been a mixed bag in regards to Conan. Prior to Age of War, high latency meant that you could pull off ghost hits but also that you ran the risk of getting wrecked by delayed trade damage. A less laggy player could wheel on you with an axe or a sword and punish your spamming before you even knew it was happening, because on your screen they’re still getting poked.
With the elimination of direct trading as a viable mechanic (due to factors like a lack of hyper-armor and overtuned damage), high lag players have a vast advantage in the current meta. They can kill you in three hits and you don’t have the health or hyper-armor to tank that and retaliate.
