Official Server 1555 has rolled back by three months!

I’m a relatively new Conan Exiles player, only about 3 months in, and this is already the second rollback I’ve experienced.

The first time, I lost a lot of progress but decided to rebuild everything and keep playing. Now the server has apparently been rolled back by three months, essentially wiping out almost everything I’ve done since I started playing.

I have 401 hours in the game already and have purchased the DLCs and packs because I genuinely enjoyed the game. But I cannot justify rebuilding everything again knowing this can happen on an official server.

Is this rollback permanent? Is Funcom aware of what happened to Server 1555, and is there any possibility of restoring our progress?

I really don’t want to quit the game, but if three months of progress can simply disappear, I don’t see the point in starting over again.

We are investigating this situation on our end and as soon as I know more, I will update this thread.

Went down recently and now asking everyone to make a new char.

Official server #1550 PvE - g-portal.com loaded a rolled back version of the character databases (looks like about 3 or 4 months rollback). IP 212.56.32.205:28700

6 year player here. Learned years ago to not play on official servers. This kind of nonsense happens regularly enough that no one who cares about anything should ever play on an official server. Funcom’s incompetence and non-existent support will screw you eventually.

It appears this, and the last major outage, is solely due to GPortal being a lackluster “rent a server” provider.

…so far the only time GPortal is quick to respond is when people are having trouble giving them money. :rofl:
