I don’t know what the latest patch has done, but I’ve lost 3 zerkers since the last patch because thralls are shaking off agro and not attacking during fights.
I engage a fight by sending them into the fight, I’m agility-authority built and use bow. If I shoot the boss, or help them kill adds, they shake off the aggro and stop fighting! The boss then attacks me, and the only way I can get the thralls to attack again is to kite the boss to hit them so they wake up.
This has NEVER been the way it works. I don’t understand how no one else is noticing this or complaining about this. I feel like I’ve stepped into an alternate reality! Haha.
If I die due to a squishy build and sudden boss and add aggro the thralls do not even defend themselves.
This is a good low-ping official server I’m playing on. Low population too!
So what gives, please? I have geared myself for the authority/agility build and now my thralls are dying like flies… and so am I.
Please, someone else must be noticing this since the last patch too.

No one notice this? I see now that the forum has had people reporting this issue since back in 2020. Why does no one talk about this? Are all your thralls working correctly? No issues with aggro? Do people not use beserkers and thralls as much as I thought? Its like a constant issue for me since the last patch in december. I can’t do dungeons or anything beyond a 3 star open-world boss… and even the red mother has become a problem and nearly kills the thralls.
I use the same tactics as you and yes it has caused a lot of problems. I’m also a sorcerer so I’m extra vulnerable to direct damage. I need my slaves to wake up and fight for me!
when the server is laggy this problem worsen, for sometimes they take age to aggro, on purge another day my thrall stod stand observing a demolisher that passed through the door destroy the coffer room from inside
I also suffer from this problem. And for me this is the main problem with the Age of War Chapter 3 update. It makes it impossible to continue the game.
I’m also surprised and don’t understand why there are so few reports about this problem. This error may not happen to everyone.
I have noticed that there aren’t any post about it, I believe the last update was too much for people…I know a few clans I play with haven’t been playing.
On the other hand, since my thralls won’t do anything during combat, besides me commanding them, I have switched over to pets. Using my camels during my purge got me thinking…they have a ton of HP so even if they don’t attack they can soak up some damage for me. But it turns out they function like normal… just an option if you do want to keep playing.
