Official Servers DOWN for days

I play on PC on two servers, mainly: Official Servers 1504 and 1733. They have been repeatedly offline over the last 3 days, with no explanation by the devs/maintanaince crew. Please respond with some information about what is going on here, Funcom! I’ve spent alot of money on expansion packs and in the bazaar and think I and your other fans deserve more than your silence. Thank you.

You’re just screaming in to the void. funcom has abandoned Conan and as servers have issues there is no one to fix them. I’d recommend just shutting them all down if they are not going to properly maintain them.

Exactly just because of that bazaar items should be playable offline too.

I’m unable to get into server 6437. I tried direct connection using the IP but that did not work also verified the game files. I can log into all others servers I have bases on.

Whatever the cause it’s definitely bad this morning. It seems that all of the pve 15xx servers and at least some of the pve 17xx cannot be connected to. Tried a few random pvp 15xx servers and they worked fine though there may certainly be some that aren’t.

It’s crickets because Funcom does not give a fig! They’ve made that very clear.

I have to agree, they seem to have given up on a game that could make them a lot of money if they were smarter about marketing. Notice that Dune Awakening DOES NOT have a forum thread here? Funcom doesn’t want any potenital new players to become aware of their shoddy service performance and unwillingness (or inability) to maintain the CE servers.

As of 1200 central time, many of the official servers are down. The 1500 series seems to be the hardest hit, but it’s creeping into the other series as well. Seems to largely also affect the original exiles map as siptah servers were open this a.m.

An official word from Funcom would be appreciated. It’s been this way all weekend.

Doesn’t seem to be a GPortal issue.

If you have not reported it officially yet, file a ticket with Contact Us — Conan Exiles Help Center under Request Type: Server Performance. You will get an automated email, reply to it immediately stating the issue requires attention. They do not usually work weekends and they won’t be in until the beginning of their workday tomorrow. If the issue is not resolved by next evening, reply to the email again stating that the issue is not resolved. It is up to you how often you want to do this as long as the servers are inaccessible but reasonably no more than once a day or two would be ideal.

Just for those who were trying to refresh or haven’t logged in awhile, no one should expect any compensation for loss and is in the ToC and EULA as such, be prepared to manage your expectations in this.

The likelihood of an FC employee coming on here to tell you specifically that the issue is being looked into would be shocking to the majority of players who frequent any FC space, currently. There’s been little to no communication for a year and the only community manager left was laid off early October.

Additionally this happens frequently enough and if anyone has been paying attention this late summer/fall the LATAM servers have suffered this very situation twice, and it went without a peep from FC for weeks each time. The servers coming back silently - good I suppose? It could be better :grimacing:

As to what is causing it? Hard to say. Bad config? Actually GPortal? A performance bug? An exploit?

In the meantime what you can also do is go through direct connect and here is how you access your favorited servers to acquire the IP and spam it to get in (as server tracker websites are unreliable):

Open file
\Steam\steamapps\common\Conan Exiles\ConanSandbox\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor\Game.ini and search for “[FavoriteServers]” section. You’ll need to ensure that the address is specified as “IP:port” format.

No password needed.

(Might be the same for Epic and MS).

Several attempts at direct connect, yesterday and today, and it wasn’t working for me. Also, the issue seems to be server side: when logging into an exiled lands server, it doesn’t change to an exiled lands introductory picture but stay stuck on a Siptah screen.

In most cases, it was a corrupted data file that had to be corrected server side.

Thank you Kikigirl for the commentary. I hadn’t realized things were getting so sad for Funcom. Hopefully these woes aren’t a prelude to more dire circumstances with the company.

Every Sunday I log in to refresh the timers on the official servers I play on and need to be refreshed. Today, I tried several times by every means possible to connect to those servers only to be told that the game lost connection to the servers. I fear that, being unable to connect, I’ll lose everything on all those servers, two of which I’ve played on almost since launch.

The fact that Funcom remains silent on this matter just shows the contempt this company has towards its player base and how right I was NOT to encourage this company further by NOT purchasing Dune, or anything on the stupid bazaar.

Totally agree with you. I keep trying, even though I am beginning to think it is a lost cause. What is REALLY funny though, is that Funcom doesn’t see that there are MANY of us (thousands) who would be willing to pay a monthly sub for a stable, well-kept official server! They just don’t seem to get that there are those of us who LOVE this game!

Thank you for this info. Very sad that my favorite game seems to be on a path to obscurity.

:frowning:

What is also very strange is that I have zero problem logging into the Beta Test-Live Server. The only problem is, of course, that all my bazaar purchased items are irrelevant there. So they still plan on posting changes to the Test server, but aren’t supporting their actual official servers? WTF? lol. Any comments?

See how many Conan Exiles PvE servers are NOT responding? (ALL THE ONES WITH ZERO PLAYERS ONLINE!)

Afaik it is only the NA PC PVE Officials that are affected, someone can correct me if I am wrong.

This means you’re able to log on to Beta/Test Live, other regions and modes.

Beta hasn’t been updated to the current live version and the last information about it is that FC “might” run another Beta in the future.

I have just successfully logged onto 1504, which has been down for 3 days. Yesterday I finally successfully logged onto 1733, only to have the server crash again less than an hour later.

1504 down again

Server crash–AGAIN. Nice to see the Community Service update, but it would be even NICER to have functioning servers…official server 1733 also down for the last 30 mins- hour, along with other “official” servers.
